Why the Owner Chose Canaan Valley
We have been to Canaan Valley for 12 summers in a row and loved it! It is a great place for a family vacation. We purchased a townhome so that we could go to Deerfield and Canaan Valley more often.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We are in the heart of Canaan Valley with access to two beautiful state parks (Canaan and Blackwater Falls), two ski resorts (Timberline and Canaan), a cross-country ski resort (Whitegrass), hiking, biking, camping, swimming, golfing, etc. Deerfield Village also has a pizzeria on the premises, a pool, tennis courts, volleyball, mini-golf, a fishing pond -- so if you never want to leave Deerfield itself, you could just stay on property. On rainy days, we have an extensive DVD/VHS library, a lending library, board games and an arcade next door.

We live in the Metro DC area and enjoy the short drive to Canaan Valley to get away from the rat race. Our kids love Deerfield and so do we.

Staying in Canaan Valley was a perfect getaway! The townhouse was clean, charming, and very homey! Great views off the back deck-wonderful place to have your morning coffee. The location was ideal-you are close to skiing, hiking trails, restaurants and so much more. We will definitely go back!

Great place to stay! Comfy, cozy, great location. Felt right at home. Loved the nice fireplace, beds were plush and warm. We definitely will be coming back!

This house is awesome. The scenery, activities and the people make for a great, relaxing weekend if you are looking to get away from it all. Our favorites are the Horseback Riding and the Blackwater Falls State Park. Comfy living room is our favorite in the winter with a big fireplace to keep you warm and in the summer, grilling out back on the deck is awesome!
