This recently remodeled condo is super clean, comfortable, smoke-free, and pet-free. It's in one of the best locations in Carolina Beach across from the municipal lake, a few steps to the beach, and less than three blocks to the Carolina Beach boardwalk. The condo has new granite counter tops and tile floors in the kitchen and bath and lush new carpeting in the living areas. It also has new bedroom furniture and features central air and heating, free wireless internet service, a washer-dryer, and assigned covered parking. This 1-bedroom, 1-bath unit has all the amenities of home. With a queen-size bed in the bedroom, built-in twin bunk beds in the hall alcove, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in living room, it can accommodate 4-5 persons comfortably.
The condo has two decks, one on each side of the condo. On the living room deck, you can relax and view the ocean and hear the surf; from the bedroom deck, you can enjoy views of Carolina Beach Lake Park and walking trail. The Lake Park offers a Saturday morning Farmer's Market and Craft Sales and a Sunday evening outdoor family movie during summer.
The condo’s remodeled kitchen has beautiful new floors and countertops, a full-size cooktop and oven, refrigerator with icemaker and interior filtered water, undermount sink and garbage disposal, new dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffeemaker, toaster, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, glassware (including wineglasses), and other needed utensils for cooking and dining. The galley kitchen is open to the living and dining area and has a bar area with extra seating for dining.
In addition to its own laundry facilities, the condo has free local phone service, cable television in the living room and bedroom, high speed internet with wireless access, DVD and VCR players, stereo, and assigned covered parking.
Nearby, you can visit sites such as the Fort Fisher Civil War Museum and the very popular North Carolina Aquarium. A mile away, the Kure Beach pier is a great place to fish or watch fishermen pull in their catch. The thriving port city of Wilmington, NC, is about 15 minutes away and has the Historic Riverfront District with its unique restaurants, shops, walking tours, tour bus rides, carriage rides, and riverboat cruises. Also, Wilmington is home to the USS North Carolina WW II Battleship Memorial and UNC-Wilmington.

We used the condo for a girls weekend away for three old college friends. We all live in different states now, so it was nice to come back to the beach we used to drive to for day trips from Raleigh back when we were in college. The condo has been updated nicely and was clean when we arrived. The front porch area is nice for dining and enjoying the ocean view in between the condos that are just in front of this unit. The balcony off the bedroom was excellent for warming up after coming off the beach on a windy day, and for people and car watching. Loved the bunk beds in the hallway. The unit was the perfect amount of space for three, and we will definitely look to rent again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I had an excellent weekend at Carolina beach. The location of the condo was great; it allowed us to walk to everything we wanted to do. The condo was very clean, well maintained, with nice decor. The views of the ocean and lake were excellent. Thank you for sharing your place with us Rhonda.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Thank you so much for opening up your condo to us. We had an amazing vacation. What a great spot with everything within a short drive. Kids love the Fort Fisher Aquarium and toy exhibit at the Cape Fear Museum. Kure Beach Pier gave us a beautiful view…Thanks for the suggestion. The kids can’t wait to come back. We had a great week at the beach and enjoyed our stay in your condo. It’s very comfortable and convenient to the beach and other things. This is our first time to Carolina Beach. This was our 4th year in a row coming to Carolina Beach & the second time staying here. It’s like our home away from home. We love the lake. I enjoyed jogging around it each morning : ) The condo was clean and beautiful as always. We went to Squigleys’ and the Creamery this year for ice cream, had Britt’s donuts a couple of times, and ate at Hang Ten Grill and Tangerines. Each day, we enjoyed gorgeous weather and spent all day at the pool and on the beach. We had a great time as a family on Thursday night enjoying the rides and fireworks. And this year, we got a date night (Thanks to our teenage daughters) and had a blast at Hurricane Alley’s and the Crow’s Nest. We really enjoyed our family vacation here. The location is central to everything we did—beach, boardwalk, Aquarium, NC Battleship, Kure Beach Pier, Fort Fish Ferry, etc., etc. The girls absolutely loved the pool. This was their first time seeing the ocean. It was my husband’s and my first time seeing the Atlantic. Beautiful! The condo is very comfortable—like an oasis after being out in the NC sun. Thanks for letting us book last minute. We did about everything. Britts/watched Fire Dancers/boardwalk games/souvenirs and more souvenirs!! Celebrated Cico de Mayo at Mexican restaurant. Very crowded but great food. Breakfast at pancake house/Aquarium/Putt-Putt/Beach/Pool (kids loved the pool!)/zoo—twice!/Fishing and then more souvenirs. Not bad for a weekend. About the owner: I'm a native North Carolinian and first came to Carolina Beach when I was a teenager. I now live in Pennsylvania but come back often to enjoy the ocean and the many wonderful aspects of Carolina Beach and Wilmington.
Why the Owner Chose Carolina Beach:
This beach is a couple of hours away from where I grew up, and the condo offers close proximity to the beach and to the municipal lake and walking trail. Wilmington is also close by, so this unit offers a beach lifestyle with city amenities.

This property is in a great location at Carolina Beach. It is a few steps to the beach and an easy walk to the boardwalk--that's important if you want to indulge in some of the best donuts you'll ever taste or have kids who will enjoy the rides and games. I have tried to create a lovely, calm, and relaxing atmosphere in the condo that guests will enjoy. Besides all the nearby activities within walking distance, the condo is also a close drive to the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher, Kure Beach Pier, the Southport ferry, and a variety of shopping and dining experiences. But you don't have to drive anywhere unless you really want to.
