Our vacation home features four spacious bedrooms and three full baths on two levels. There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, spacious living room with fireplace, dining room and family room. A sliding glass door in the family room leads to a second story deck overlooking the new swimming pool and adjoining park area with lovely live oaks. The L shaped Lap pool is 38 feet in length with a 12 foot by 12 foot shallow play area. The pool may be accessed at ground level as well as from the second story deck via spiral stairs. Garage parking and generous parking on wrap-around driveway. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Newly painted, new mattresses and furnishings, new granite top patio furniture, pool recliners, and gas grill. Four TVs (3 in bedrooms and one in family room), 2 DVD players, and a Playstation Game system.

The bedrooms have good separation with the master having a queen bed and a private bath and the second bedroom with two single beds on the top level. A newly renovated hallway bathroom with skylight on the upper level. There are two additional bedrooms on the first level: a large bedroom with a queen bed that opens onto a private deck shaded by palm trees, and the other with bunk beds. The bunk beds have a single mattress on top with a full mattress on the bottom, allowing for sleeping for three persons in that bedroom. The first level also has bathroom and a seating area that adds to the spaciousness and comfort of this well appointed home.

Being located in Lawton Woods, you are an eight minute walk or a three minute bike ride to the beach. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve and the Lawton Stables are within walking distance. There are many miles of biking/hiking trails throughout the plantation and in the public areas. Water sports, restaurants, shopping and entertainment abound on and directly off the island. Short day trips are possible with Savannah about 45 minutes and Charleston about one hour and 15 minutes away.

  • The house sits in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The beach, Lawton Stables (petting farm), and even Harbor Town are within bike-riding distance. The house is very comfortable and the pool has a shaded part every time of the day- which makes for a great place to read and relax.

  • The location was great. The house was very spacious for 2 families. The pool was used everyday. The covered patio was nice after being in the hot sun at the beach. We used the outdoor shower frequently after being at the beach and after swimming in the pool. We also enjoyed swimming at night with the pool lights on. The pool was the hightlight!

  • A wonderful house,the photo's don't do it justice.The open plan living area is very spacious,all the bedrooms are well appointed. We used the pool everyday,and the upstairs deck is ideal for breakfast. The location is excellent for all of the Sea Pines plantation. In short a great holiday home.

  • Wonderful home for two families (two separate floors with common livingroom / kitchen). The pool is great! You see the thoughtfull care in every detail of the house. The security deposit is fair considering the high standard of the house and was refunded immediately after the stay. We loved to spend our vacation there!
