My husband and I rented this wonderful cabin over Columbus Day weekend. Fran was a perfect and attentive host! She answered all my questions promptly, gave a lot of information about the area and the house, and was very accommodating with our departure date needs. When we arrived we felt immediately at peace. The cabin is located off a quiet and private road nestled amongst trees. It's charmingly decorated and every amenity is provided. Fran left us a very thoughtful welcome package so we began our stay with delicious maple cookies! The area's fall foliage was absolutely stunning! We took time to go hiking, explore the neighboring towns, and ended each night by sitting around the wood stove. Leaving Becket was not easy as we had absolutely melted into this quaint haven. We look forward to coming back and hopefully for a longer stay!

Owner response: A and O, I was speechless when I walked into the cabin and saw your wonderful note and the care you took with everything. I am always delighted to hear that Wisteria captured your soul . From the very first contact you made with me, I knew it was a good fit and that you would definitely be welcomed back. Thanks so much for making it easy for me to have you as my guests. It's wonderful that you got to enjoy such beautiful foliage and to relax at the end of busy days. I just ordered more firewood so I am all set for the cozy winter nights ahead. I do keep the cabin open all year round and each season brings new surprises. Thanks again.
Super cute cabin in a very quaint neighborhood. This trip offered exactly what we were looking for -- peace and relaxation. We loved having our own kitchen to be able to prepare meals for ourselves, and it is an extremely well stocked kitchen! Fran offered tons of great tips for activities in the area, so we were able to balance some fun and exploration with our relaxing. The cabin is very well stocked and equipped to make your trip seamless and to help you feel at home.

Owner response: Jen, Joe and Lucie, Thanks so much for all of the great communication and feedback. It was a joy having you at Wisteria . I just knew the cabin was in good hands. I am so glad you found it to be well stocked for your needs. The location is pretty central to most of the Berkshire activities , yet it gives you the privacy you need for a relaxing getaway. You are all welcome back any time. Fran
I had originally made a reservation for a surprise Valentines Day getaway, but we ended up in a blizzard that weekend and had to resechedule. My wife and I just got married in early May, and we thought early summer would be a nice time to get away for a second honeymoon! Wisteria was very comfortable, relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for. We really appreciated the personal touches and all the ammenities provided. We spent most of our first afternoon walking around the community, making it all the way around both lakes. Saturday we cooked a nice big breakfast and spent a good portion of the day hiking in the Sanderson Brook Falls park. We actually lost the trail on our way back down the hill and had to find our own way out of the woods! The weather was absolutely amazing the whole weekend, and we were definately able to unwind and relax. Highly recommended to others!

Owner response: E and W, You can never have too many honeymoons . It made me smile to hear about your adventures and challenges in the woods. Your vitality and attention to detail helped to give you the time and space you needed to regroup after such a hectic winter and spring. Glad you were able to fit this trip in. You are both welcome back again any time. Thanks for making it so easy. F.
Really enjoyed our stay in Becket. The house itself was stocked as indicated and then +++. If you are a baker or like to cook, youll be at home, and Id even bring some recipes and whatever unique ingredients you need...everything else i s there. We used the raft and paddled on the beautiful little lake in the subdivision, it was spectacular and very serene. Overall great place, Fran was super to work with , everything about it was easy. Hope to visit again!

This cabin is wonderful. Cute and cozy, well-equipped with everything you need or could dream of needing. We walked in the door, lit the stove and were ready to relax. It felt just like coming home when we first arrived. We only live about a half hour away from the cabin, but being there we felt like we were 1000 miles away from our busy everyday lives. It was just perfect. We will be returning very soon.

Fabulous get away!!
What a beautiful cabin! It is even more inviting than the photos show.Despite the freezing temperature outside, the cabin quickly became warm and cozy thanks to the toasty fire in the wood stove. The kitchen has everything a cook would need to make a simple or a gourmet meal. Everything about this cabin is nurturing and encourages you to relax. Thanks to Fran for the great selection of coffee that also helped make each morning delightful. I spent my days exploring the winter wonderland that is the Berkshires, and looked forward to returning to this perfect getaway at the end of a great day. I can't wait to return in the spring or summer. Thanks again, Fran. Sandy
