Surrounded by trees, on an elevated mountain road, Double Eagle is an ideal place to stay during your next visit to Helen. All the comforts of home can be found here in the serene and tranquil gated golf community of Innsbruck, located just minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Helen, home of the longest Octoberfest east of the Mississippi River. Put your feet up in front of the welcoming gas fireplace, enjoy over a hundred channels on the flat screen TV, or surf the internet. Fix a meal in the kitchen and eat inside, or outside on the private back deck. Relax in the bubbly hot tub while watching the stars. Get a good night sleep in either of the bedrooms, or the efficiency downstairs, each with its own private bathroom.

When you're ready to venture out, enjoy the golf member guest rate of $28/person for up to 6 people per day, take a dip in the refreshing pool, play a rousing game of tennis, or enjoy dinner at the clubhouse. Head downtown for some local shopping or dining, tube down the Chattahoochee, or take a ride in one of the horse drawn carriages.

NEW LOWER RATES FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER!! $105 Friday or Saturday nights, and $75 Sunday through Thursday nights, with a cleaning fee is $75, and combined Georgia Sales and Lodging Taxes of 15%.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S WEEKLY RATES: Come stay either week for an all inclusive price of $700!

All rates are based on double or quad occupancy. For more than four guests, add $10 to the cleaning fee, and $15 per night for use of the efficiency downstairs. Surcharges and additional night minimums may be applied to holidays.

  • Loved the cabin. Loved the golf course. We enjoyed a great vacation in Helen. The cabin was modern, clean, and private. Deer right outside the door and on the course! Can't recommend it high enough. Quick trips to Franklin (where I dug out a 75 carat Ruby!!!!) and Dalonega were a nice drive. Canoeing, Tubing, Golfing -- a great relaxing trip. Will be back next year!

  • This little cabin in the woods has everything! Located in a gated community, I felt very safe and secure. You can go shopping, play golf, swim, play tennis, and enjoy the German influence in Helen Georgia and the surrounding area. You can also just relax at the cabin and soak up the peace and quite. We had 5 in our party and it was just right. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation and really enjoyed this little home away from home. So.......much better than a hotel!

  • We stayed at the Double Eagle in early November. We were very satisfied with the cabin, especially the price! It was very clean and had everything we needed, including wine glasses and a cork screw! We had a little problem with the TV but help arrived within 15 minutes of our call. It ended up being a wrong button pushed on the remote, much to our embarassment! Checking in and out was easy. The managers were wonderful! Nice gated community, we felt very safe.
