Summer is passing and while it is still hot in many places. We are seeing the first changing leaves and beginning to feel the change of season. Experience the fall colors from our comfortable vacation home. A place apart from the ordinary. Centrally located to all your favorite leaf looking spots. The high today was 68, the low 48, absolutely delicious weather. The skies are so blue, the air is so clean. The freshness of the atmosphere is exilerating. Lots to do in the area. Scenic byway to Mt. Evans is still open to the top, jeep trails to the outback, hiking the Continental Divide Trail and James Peak Wilderness, St. Mary's Glacier hike, fishing on private lakes availbe for a badge fee. The hot tub is perfectly maintained, a truly magical place to enjoy the night sky. Outstanding sunrises and spectacular blue skies, get out of the brown cloud and breathe some really fresh air. Our rental home is located above 10,000 ft in the historic mining community of Alice. Located on the east side of the Continental Divide, you find yourself in the beauty and granduear of the Rocky Mountains. Convenient to I-70. 45 minutes from downtown Denver or the Eisenhower Tunnel. Idaho Springs is less than 20 minutes away where you can enjoy shopping,restaurants, museums, the Indian Hot Springs and more. Take exit 238 past Idaho Springs, go 8.5 miles up to the community of Alice, a place apart from the ordinary. Come up and enjoy the unique shopping in Clear Creek County. Major ski areas are within an hour travel time. Skiing is close and on the other side of the worst traffic jams. Book our home for ski weekends and avoid the traffic and get the most fun from our house. This comfortable custom home is a perfect place to relax and get away from it all, yet close and centrally located to major mountain activities. Hiking and four wheeling trails abound, maps available. Fishing on private stocked lakes available for extra fee. Try your luck at gold panning, the miners didn't get it all. Leave everything behind and come enjoy a stay with us. We continue to watch the progress and development of the Eclipse Snowpark. This place is the best kept secret in Colorado, plan your next getaway with us. This home is a family business, locally owned and operated for your convenience.
