We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the cabin very much. The kids loved the playground and the friendly animals that often greeted us. Your cabin is beautiful and beautifully decorated. Thank you for the attention to detail. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepot. The Bison were also a special treat. Our family made many wonderful memories this weekend. God Bless this cabin.

Thank you for sharing this lovely retreat with us. The Buffalo put on a show for us and the goats are charming. We spent most of our time on the blues ridge parkway and except for a small mishap with the motorcycle, we had a memorable time. We would love to visit again. Best wishes.

We enjoyed this "like new" cabin very much. The bison view was great. The kids loved the playground and feeding the goats. The cabin decor was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for..... the approach was a bit steep, but our mini-van made it with a running start. Thanks for the memories we will be back.

Thank you for a great place to vacation, this is much better then a B&B, an infinately better then a motel room. All the animals kept us entertain while we stayed around the cabin & the playground was a winner! But it was the Bison that got us here. I did not know there was a Bison Ranch in NC! I thought I had to go outwest to see them--this is too cool. I love the mountains, & this is just one more reason to come back as often as possible.

To Buffalo Creek, This place is a great respite from the pressures of 21st living. Leave the blackberry at home & just enjoy the surroundings. P.S., the castle across the valley looks original to 1,150 ad!

The lodge exceeded our expectations upon arrival. Modern but still comfy lodge, no red and green plaid in sight! Our girls loved being next to the goats and miniature pony. We enjoyed staying on the property and exploring, didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy ourselves. The host family was warm and helpful, including the fresh egss! Very convenient to groceries and anything you need - Maggie Valley, Asheville, Waynesville. The game room was great and the hot tub, too. We brought our dog who was in hound heaven! A perfect place for a family getaway whether you want to stay put or see the sights.

Thank you for your hospitality & lovely cabin! The goats who said "Gra-a-a-a-a-ss' to our daughters in the morning, the bison on the hill, sweet Ranger Dan, playing pool, swinging on swings, relaxing in the hot tub & ohhhhh the Fresh Eggs!!! What a lovely week we had. Thank you.

This is our first time in a cabin, & we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very nice. With wonderful ammenities, such as the hot tub, pool table, games, & playgrond. My kids had a great time at the playground. The hot tub was so relaxing, & view from back porch was nice. My wife & I had to get used to the swinging bed, but we managed to catch some zzz's. Thanks for everything! It was great.

We spent a wonderful week in mountains! Our 3 children (8,6,and 3) loved the cabin, especially playing in the gravel walkway with their trucks. They loved the hot tub and the pool table. The bunkbeds were also a big hit. Oh, and I almost forgot the playground!! The zip line is AWESOME, in the words of my 6 year old. We enjoyed feeding the goats, seeing the bison and the horses, especialy Ranger Dan. Everywhere you look the scenery is beautiful gorgeous mountains and clear running streams.

WE had a wonderful time visiting your cabin. We were just married on 6/28/08 & came here for our honeymoon. We are leaving with such great memories & pictures. We enjoyed the dogs & the goats. We've named the black & white goat Oreo (he's our favorite). The pool table & hot tub were great! The scenery was beautiful & we are leaving relaxed. Thanks for a beautiful place to stay on our first week as a married couple! Woo Hoo!!

We just arrived after a long trip from Wesson, MS we are glad to be here. Who would have ever though that a home in the middle of the summer w/ out central air would be so comfortable, (unheard of from where we are from). My husband is out on the swing enjoying a cup of coffee. grandbabies Hannah & Travis are watching cartoons (of course.) Well, it's time to go, goes by so fast...awesome experience, awesome time for all of us. Thank you for a great cabin. Terry & Angie

We had a wonderful time here. Sydney emjoyed the roving dog (she neamed him Snickerdoodle). We had a great time at the playground & petted the horses. We made liberal use of the deck, BBQ & hot tub while enjoying the scenic views. Being from the west coast, we even enjoyed the little things like the little rain storms & fireflies! Thanks again, it's an absolutely stunning place!

We had a terrific three days at this lodge. The cabin & decor make you feel right at home. I enjoyed playing pool with our grandsons and the views are fantastic! The stocked kitchen was much appreciated. It was a very restful (and much needed) week-end get away. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Thanks so much for the use of this beautiful cabin. James & I did not know how much we needed this till we got here. It is so peaceful & the mounatians are wonderful to just sit & look at. Enjoyed the buffalo & the birds. Really enjoyed the hot tub. This part of the country is fun to ride around & look at the farms & see how the homes are placed on the mountains. We enjoyed our stay on your lovely cabin! It was fun to be close to the Bison & horses. The walk to the river was the perfect length for us! We also had the good fortune of beautiful sunny weather. Thanks for the eggs-a yummy breakfast they made! Thank you! P.S. We enjoyed going into Waynesville, had a nice meal at Bogarts & Headlights.

We stayed in this lovely cabin March 21-26, 2008. This was a trip for our family and my husband's parents to get together before he deploys to Iraq on April 19th. This cabin is beautifully decorated and very accomodating for all of us(4 adults,1 teen and 6 yr old). The easter basket on the table was a thoughtful touch. The views from the cabin are breathtaking. We love sitting in the hot tub, taking in the views and watching the bison. We went out on a few excursions but mainly enjoyed hanging out at the cabin and exploring the property. Very relaxing and fun had by all! We will be back as soon as my husband returns from deployment. Thanks for everything--The Smiths

The quiet this morning was broken by the chatter of birds. What a lovely, tranquil, peaceful place this is. This cabin is fabulous, the decor so imaginative and homey with excellent lighting. Cheryl, Jeff and family. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful home and property with us as I prepare for my deployment and time away from my family. The Easter basket and treats were a wonderful surprise. The craftsmenship and decor of this place is amazing! The property had views, including the animals, has me rethinking my property and decision to settle in east Tennessee. April and I, the kids and my folks, all felt at home here as we enjoyed some much needed down time in this very peaceful setting. The hot tub, pool table, playground and all around amentities were incredible! We hope to visit again soon. Thanks again for everything.

Thank you for having us in your beautifully decorated, cozy cabin. We got together with our friends for a long weekend, we really enjoyed our stay. The view was gorgeous, the hot tub very relaxing and we had a precious little visitor every day. We called him Buksi ( Hungarian dog name). I hope we make it again in the summer. This was the most relaxing weekend I've had in a long time. Being able to share this lodge with my friends was great! We were able to scrapbook, get in the hot tub and just enjoy the mountains. Everyone had so much fun and we will continue this as a scrapbook getaway. The two headed shower was fabulous. The owners were the nicest people I've ever met. I want to live here, I enjoyed it so much! I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much.

This cabin was wonderful. My sister and I and all of our 6 children enjoyed this cabin. From the hot tub to the buffalos. Our children really like the freindly dogs and horses. Just to see buffalo that close was to cool. The quiet of the mountains and the cozy comfort of the cabin was very relaxing. We arrived late and it was getting dark the direction were great and the cabin had all the lights on. The welcome was just wonderful. Thank you to Cheryl and her family for a great weekend. I loved the two headed shower in the master bed room upstairs! I was very nice experiance! I thought the cabin was amazing! The hot tube was very nice. I loved the stay and hopfyly will be returnning!

I don't think we could have choosen a better time of year or a better place to come. Our visit was great. We had a couple 1st time skies & some often time skiers. Chataloochee was extremely busy the whole time, but that is the only complaint that weekend. The cabin is beautiful & we had no problems with it. Thank you and Jake for checking in on us. It was appreciated! We look forward to our next visit to the mountains & hop eyour accomodations will be available. P.S. We got the jeep fixed, thank you for your concern. Go Gamecocks!

Everything at the cabin was wonderful. We had a great time. Bill really enjoyed talkng with your parents & hearing about how the houses were built. I loved the personal touches you have everywhere. Especially the Christian ones-really makes the cabin feel like home, rather then a rental. The kids enjoyed the pool table & the toys you have. We all enjoyed the hot tub! Your parents let us tour the new cabin-it is beautiful Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. P.S take time to hike around the property & go to Bogarts in Waynesville.

The cabin rocked! Loved the pool table. If you get free time, the Piercing the Darkness book rocked. Mic loved the bonfire & we loved the buffalo & the horses. Thank you so much for letting us use your new cabin. God Bless.

This cabin has such a great location along with the horses, buffalo, and local dogs that we made friends with. We used the hot tub every day and enjoyed the surrounding cities. Cold weather for us Floridians, but we loved it! Invigorating! Thanks for the accomodations...We'd stay again.

Enjoyed the cabin. The boys loved the horses and the hot tub. Most things were closed for the season, but we still had a good time. Boy was it cold outside.

Fantastic Vacation! We spent 4 days with our family & grandson who enjoyed your dogs & climbing the hills. He wanted to take "L.D." (the dog) home with him & cried because he couldn't. The views were beautiful, and the buffalo and cattle were a great experience! Grandson built a fire and roasted marshmellows and enjoyed stoking the fire. Was a wonderful experience for him, something other than "city life." Daughters enjoyed hot tub and books, husband enjoyed the new home log construction. Cabin was very comfortable and we hope we can come back again and experience another awesome getaway! Thank You!

We had the oppertunity to visit the cabin for a short honeymmon. This is more then we could have asked for. We are so blessed to have met such a great family. The whoel weekend was full of hospitality and everyday we were amazed at the structure of the cabin and the view it provides. The stars at night are beautiful! We spent 4 relaxing days with our yorkies & it was just what we needed: great change from our hectic lives! Thank you for allowing us and our dogs to enjoy your home--loved the fresh eggs & neighborhood dogs, horses & of course the bison! Also, the hot tub & the pool table were wonderful. The fresh eggs were a nice touch too!
