Relax in Paradise in our home for a week, month, or for the season. Enjoy the beauty of Florida's most beautiful spring-fed river, right at your back door. Sit on our swing overlooking the water and watch the manatees, porpoises, and numerous salt and fresh water fish swimming by.
Catch fish right off our floating dock and clean them on the built in fish cleaning station. Park your boat on our deep water dockage without worry of tidal fluctuations. Take a ten minute boat ride into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico to fish, dive, or watch the sunsets. Take a ride upstream to see the most pristine view of Florida. This is where you will see the true Florida.
Take a five mile ride upstream in a boat, canoe, kayak, or inner tube and enjoy sandy beaches. The water that is clean enough to drink and view the wildlife along the river. Maybe you will see otters, manatees, bass, bream, mullet, sheaphead, snook, or maybe you will look on the shore and spot a dear or hog. Maybe even a small bear. You might even get a Florida favorite, the alligator. Whatever you do on this river it will be the highlight of your trip.
If you are a Golfer, there are dozens of Golf Courses within 15 to 30 minutes away. If going out to dinner is what you enjoy, you will find dozens of restaurants from Fine Elegant dining to your local beach bar. My favorite is the Upper Deck just a five minute walk or short boat ride from our house. Take them your catch and they will cook if for you right there. It does not get any fresher than that.
If you don't have a boat you can use our canoe, or rent a boat for the day, week, or month at a marina just five minutes away from our home. You can rent anything from a pontoon boat to an offshore fishing boat. You can leave it parked at our dock while you stay. If you enjoy swimming you will love our place. You can walk down the concrete stairs right into the 72 degree (year round) water and swim or snorkel in the fresh water.
If you don't want to be bothered with a boat but want to fish you can catch a charter boat just ten minutes away. After you finish your stay at our home, you will not want to ever go anywhere else. You have it all. Fresh water, salt water, Ocean beaches, beautiful sunsets, rustic old Florida without the traffic jams. Come see for yourself what Florida is all about!

Excellent house for a large family.

Our family had one of the best vacations at this home. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. The tile floors were easy to clean up behind our river swimmers and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The location is close to the beach, local resturants, Rogers Park and Weeki Wachee Park. Everything about this home is convenient including access to the river with is right out the back door. We hope to return and enjoy another family vacation.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
