Our home is a comfortable family home with lots of space for the kids to play indoors and out.
Our vacation home has a large covered porch overlooking the cove for those rainy or snowy days. There is a charcoal grill on it as well as two picnic tables and benches.
Your vacation retreat is 20 minutes from Fryeburg Maine, home of the Fryeburg Fair, 75 minutes from Portland, Maine, and 90 minutes from Portsmouth, NH. Our home is a three minute drive from the Kancagmagus Highway with great hiking and camping as well as wonderful vistas.
Summer Rentals: From your own covered deck you can look out onto our private cove which opens out onto the larger lake with a pristine view of the mountains. You are welcome to rent or bring your own canoe and dock it in your own cove but motorized boats are not allowed on the lake. From our home, it is only a few minutes walk to a private neighborhood beach and is open only to the association members and their guests. You of course would be our guests. This house is situated in the heart of the Mt. Washington Valley, less than a half hour from Storyland and many more attractions including museums, golf, minature golf, water slides, fine restaurants and pubs, outlet shops, cinemas, canoeing, hiking and swimming.
Winter Rentals: Situated within 15 minutes of some of the best skiing in New England. Close to Attish, Cranmore, Black Mountain, Wildcat and more. For you snowmibilers and cross country skiers there are many trails nearby. In addition to hot air heat there is a cozy wood burning stove which will heat the entire house if you wish. There is a ski closet on the covered porch in which you may secure your skis when not in use (bring your own padlock), without bringing them into the heated interrior. There is ample parking for 6 cars and a snowmobile trailer.

Spring (mid April to mid June) - $600/week also weekends available.
Summer - $750/week (Weeks only, Sat. to Sat.)
Fall (after Labor Day) $600/week also weekends available
Dec 01 - Apr 15 - Seasonal rental only (family or a small group)
$3,900 for the season, plus utilities. $1,500 security/cleaning deposit required.
Spring, Summer and Fall $150 refundable security deposit required.
Cleaning fee required for all rentals.
8% New Hampshire Rental Tax

Year Purchased: 1986
This home has been in the family for 20+ years and has always been a favorite location for family vacations and reunions. Now on it's 2nd generation of owners we are hoping to continue with the rental side of the business while still enjoying the home and it's great location.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Everyone enjoys relaxing in the spacious house, being close to the hustle and happenings on the Conway area, the outlet shopping and the skiing, but we also love being in such a quiet neighborhood. We have few neighbors and can barely see the closest house. It's always quiet and relaxing!
