Never having vacationed in Newport County, we were unsure of where to stay. We couldn't have been more pleased to walk in to a spacious property that came exactly as it was advertised. Clean, meticulous, fully furnished and turn-key from beginning to end. Jack and Deb were cheerful, pleasant and generous hosts and Jack even gave us a crash course tour in scenic Middletown including beaches and sites to see. The beautiful public school grounds track/field/courts across the street were a bonus and surprise being that I'm an avid runner. I was able to comfortably do my morning runs on their new 1/4 mile track by simply walking 5 minutes around the corner. Private beach accommodations were convenient and never over crowded making it great for young ones to enjoy. A real sanctuary! Newport was a 10 minute ride and between the mansions, downtown sites/shopping, waterfront, etc. there was never a boring moment (Cliff Walks are a must!!). Anything one could ever need was never more than 10 minutes away, yet we were just far enough out of the way to be comfortable and enjoy the serene backyard of the property. One of the best week's we've spent away from home in quite some time. Highly recommended!!

My family went to Middletown for the Amica 19.7 Triathlon in September. Deb was an amazing hostess. Not only did she assist us with our bags she opened her home to us. The day of the race as my wife and I were coming in we heard someone cheering us on, only to look and see Deb at the finish line. The house is beautiful and the yard is park like. We look forward to staying again soon.

The place was perfect for our family of five during our summer vacation. The place was clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows opened. The window air condition units helped on those few hot July days with trips to Frosty Freez. We ate out at Fieldstones and Becky's BBQ, but we also fixed meals in the well equipped kitchen which includes a propane grill in the backyard. The yard was beautifully landscaped and the kids enjoyed spending time outside. The provided beach pass to a semi-private family beach was nice. Our kids enjoyed hunting for crabs, hermit crabs, and shells. The owners were excellent in providing for our needs and answering our questions. When the owners were around, the boys loved telling their adventures of the day. We would definitely recommend this place!
