Imagine yourself lounging on the redwood deck, watching life float on down the river from the hot tub. Nestled amongst giant Redwoods on and overlooking the beautiful Russian River. Meander down to your river side grassy little private beach. A favorite fishing spot for Otters, Osprey and Great Blue Herons among other wildlife.
Only a gorgeous 10 minute drive along the river to the coast, Jenner and Rivers End. The unsurpasable Russian River is clear cool and inviting. A canoe and 2 Kayaks are provided for you to explore this natural wonderland. The best of California with several attractions, charming towns and beautiful parks close to this ideal location. In the summer the river is a popular swimming and festival spot for San Francisco. In the winter the Ocean keeps the climate mild and is popular for whales.
This is California's premier wine country with many top vineyard tours nearby. You will want to move here once you visit. We'll provide a map of little known stunning scenic drives to the cliffed coast where you can walk the beaches with the sea lions and watch for whales or surf. The Landmark Sonoma coast state park and Goat Rock are at the mouth of the river. You can walk the beach and visit the sea lions that usually lounge where the Ruussian River enters the Pacific Ocean.
The house is a great get-away for couples, and can comfortably accomodates up to four couples. Families with children have enjoyed the private yard and river beach. The home is renovated with 2 decks, a BBQ and hot tub. Quality cook ware, spices, teas and condiments make your chef happy. The living room has stunning views of the river through the floor to ceiling wall of windows. Wireless DSL internet for those who need to be connected. The wood floors flowing throughout the rooms and the soaring cathedral ceilings all contribute to the open and airy feeling.

Why the Owner Chose Villa Grande
I initiallly bought this because I was amazed by the area. I soon fell in love with it and moved here living in this house for a few years. I now live close by.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I love hiking and biking in the hills, especially willow creak about 2 miles west on freeze out rd. (go straight instead of over the bridge) Also going to the coast and beaches there. and ofcourse watching the wild life from the deck and canoeing on or swimming in the river.
