Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2001
We bought this property in 2001 after 9/11. We felt that the importance of family gatherings. Our family and others would surely rather get together relatively close to home in a Comfortable Home setting than a stuffy hotel resort. This property was 2 walking blocks to the Westhampton Beach village restaurants, Shopping and just 1 mile to the local beach (Rogers Beach).
We do use this property as our Home away from Home and expect that our guests will also treat it as so. We do not accept Prom groups and are not in favor of groups that would potentially have parties. We look for family get togethers and groups that would take care of this property as their own...almost as though it is their 2nd home. Repeat guests are common.
Wade and Judy

Wade - thanks so much for letting us stay at your house! My family and I had the best vacation ever. Your house is ideally located within walking distance to town and the beach (even though we went in fall and instead of swimming, enjoyed the changing leaves). I'd gladly stay here again.

The pictures do not do this house justice!! Just stayed there with a few friends and had a great time. Close to everything. The house was very clean and the rooms were all beautiful. Wade and Judy left a folder there with everything you need to know about the house and the Hamptons. Will definitely stay there again!

25 Woodland Avenue is a wonderful place. The location is perfect...walk to town and bike to the beach! The yard is beautifully landscaped and the pool is complemented by a lovely deck, perfect for barbecue and dinner under the stars. The landlords add several nice personal touches that make for a very pleasant visit!

The house was wonderful. The pictures did not do it justice. We were traveling with another family and 3 children. The setup of the house and 2 staircases really gave us all the privacy we needed. The pool was sparkling clean and we all enjoyed it. Being able to walk to town so easily or get to the beach in minutes really made our family vacation that much easier. Thanks Wade and Judy for sharing your home with us.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in your comfortable and cozy home. It was a perfect refuge after "busy" days of going to the beach and wine tasting. And we appreciated the extra room for traveling with our baby. We hope to be back someday!

Thank you Wade and Judy for opening your home for the best family reunion we've ever had. Your home is so inviting and comfortable with an Old World charm that had all eleven of us middle agers reminiscing. Everything we needed was available to us and we were so impressed that we had plenty of room for our own space when needed. We had a wonderful time with the comfort and feeling of "home again" and we will be back when schedules of seven families permit.

This is the only place to be if you intend on visiting Westhampton Beach. Just beautiful. Warm, spacious with everything you need. I've stayed over on a number of occasions and will go back. Plenty of room for multiple families. Split the bill and enjoy this vacation palace. Highly recommended.

Just returned from two weeks at this lovely home, and am thrilled to have gone. It's a charming house with plenty of bedrooms. My favorite features were the washer/dryer and the bar. The best part is the completely private backyard with multi-level deck/patio, plenty of seating, BBQ, and spectacularly fun pool. We practically lived in the backyard for two weeks and loved it.
