Imagine having your morning coffee watching the Destin fishing fleet cruise through the pass with dolphins in their wake. Then spending your day lounging on the beach, snorkeling/scuba diving at the jetties or just relaxing at either the heated pool at Magnolia House or the beachfront pool. In the evening the choices get harder.
You may wish to go out to one of Destin's fabulous restaurants or dine on your private balcony and watch a breathtaking sunset. Either way the best way to end a perfect day is to rock to the sounds of nature on your private lanai or a midnight fishing trip out to the jetties.

- Many species of birds nest in or just stop by to visit the Destin Pointe wetland area making it an excellent location for bird watching; The Florida Gulfarium is only 9 miles west of Destin and the Gulf Breeze Zoo is approx. 33 miles west; Destin hosts many events throughout the year including: the seafood festival, fishing rodeo, jazz festival, and fireworks on New Years and July 4th. Destin Pointe is the spot for viewing the fireworks over the gulf! One of the best times of year to go to Destin is the fall! It's cooler but you can still swim, fish and wear shorts. Plus there are many fun day trips just minutes from Magnolia House, including the Florida Gulfarium, Fort Pickens, the Indian Mound Museum and site, military museums,the fantastic Pensacola light house, eden state park etc... All this and the onsite activities as well!

We enjoyed our stay in this great unit. Destin Pointe is an awesome resort, and we have rented from numerous owners in this same building. We wish that we could have purchased an extra night, but we were told that it was already rented for that night. Our 7 night stay was great! I would definitely recommend this unit.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We are so happy we came for July 4th to your unit. The water and beach was as pristine as ever and being able to view the Destin Pass fireworks from the balcony and cozy comforts of this unit was AWESOME! So glad we didn't let the media scare us away! Unit was super!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
