The bedrooms are very comfortable and the master bedroom opens on to one of the two private patios.
It looks out in the direction of the beach across a small lake - you can hear the ocean lying in bed or enjoying coffee sitting outside. You can be truly content in this cozy spot. This condo also has the feeling of being incredibly private, situated on the far corner of the complex. It is perfectly located and only a short 1/4 mile walk to the beach (sidewalk and boardwalk over dunes - no roads to cross). One of the two pools in the complex is also right out the front door.

The condo was clean and nicely furnished. It was perfect for my husband and I and my elderly mother. The grounds are very well kept and the area is quiet, peaceful and serene. Although it was too chilly to enjoy the pool this time of year, it looked lovely and inviting. The kitchen was very nice and well stocked. I was pleased there was plenty of seating as we had friends from Austin join us one night and never felt crowded. The only problem we had was we never got the tv remotes to work but it was minor inconvenience. Definitely would rent again when in the area.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We just got back from 4 perfect nights in Port A. The condo was fantastic! Clean, cool, and inviting, it surpassed our expectations. The thoughtful extra touches (like the paddle game and beach chairs in the closet) made it more like staying at a friend's place. The beaches were clean, the pool never crowded, the neighbors friendly...what more could one ask? We went fishing the first day, and bought freshly caught colossal shrimp right off the boat at the wharf. We enjoyed cooking in the great kitchen. We're planning our next trip! Stayed here for a Mom's getaway weekend in October. What a treat! FULLY stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Well kept. Clean. Great owners design that gave it a personal touch. The close proximity to the parking lot was AWESOME. Really enjoyed opening up the sliding glass door in the morning and listening to the waves. LOVED that there is a washer and dryer in the condo.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in late September. The condo has all the comforts of home, including a nicer kitchen and washer/dryer than we have at home :) The beach is very close and not crowded as you're not in Port A proper. A great place to hit Port A Crabs, buy some fresh seafood and cook dinner at the condo...oh, I didn't mention the wine chiller. AC is central and kept the place very cool. Comfy furniture. Great shower head in the master. Very comfortable beds. Cool owner, easy check in / out process. Fish cleaning shack near the parking area too that's very convenient. We'll be back as soon as we can get there from Austin.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I love the beach but were a bit aprehensive to take our usual summer beach trip as this year we have a new addition to our family. Our baby girl was only 7 months when we stayed in the condo but it was absolutely perfect for us! Heather has a fully stocked storage closets with a pack n play, every water toy you can imagine, radio, ice chest you name it. The thouroughness that the owners take to stock their condo with not only beach equipment but top of the line kitchen appliances both big and small (ie french press, blender) shows they care about their renters stay. With all the conveinences of home there was no reason for us to enjoy our first family outing. Heather also answered all of my many questions before hand and offered plenty of insight into Port A. They also have a binder with their favorite restaurants and island establishments which helped us add new favorites for us as well. We loved loved loved this condo and hope that you are lucky enough to enjoy it someday too! Thanks again!

Top notch condo! Ambience, comfort, location are all superb! The updates are high quality, the colors soothing, and the easy stroll over the boardwalk to the beach is just right. We hope to go back sometime.

This condo is perfect! It's beautiful with all updated appliances and finishes that you would find in a nice home. It's in a great complex, and in a great location. We go to Port A every summer, and we would definitely use this place again. The rental process was smooth (owner correspondence, payment, directions, etc.) and seamless. We highly recommend this place. A+++!
