  I stayed here Columbus Weekend with 4 of my gal pals and we had a blast. The only thing you'll find different in the photos is the coffee table (we didnt have one). It was GREAT, literally 1 block from the beach, around the corner from Wet Willies! The parking space is a great asset as well! The beds are so comfortable! Extra bedding and towels are available, what more could you ask for? The kitchen was FULLY equiped (except for the out of commission dishwasher) and we saved some major greenbacks by stocking up at WalMart and cooking, baking, and microwaving everything! Very VERY clean. I've already spread the word to a number of colleagues and hope to return again next year!

  Me and my family stayed for 10 days and had a lovely time with everything close by. Perfect for four, two adults and two teenagers. The condo gave the teenagers the possibility to sleep separately with the sofa bed in the living room. Comfortable beds and clean/new linings. Extra towels provided and the washing machine and dryer was useful for us. We did some cooking and would have liked some more kitchen equipment for example one more knife , another pan and a toaster would have been nice too. There where some noise from the alley behind the building in the mornings but it didn´t disturbed us too much. The parking space is a BIG plus we would have been forced to spend 15-20 dollars a day on public parking otherwise. We would absolutely recommend this condo to our friends, good location and price. The condo is over all clean and nice but the floor could use an extra wet wipe.

  Great place, pretty much a fully equipped apartment. Friends and I even called it home. Location was perfect except for the noise from trucks in the alley behind the building in the morning. Bed in master bedroom was comfortable, trundle in the 2nd bedroom sucked, wish it was a queen. Air conditioning was great in living room, not so much in the master, nonexistent in the 2nd room unless we set it to lowest setting. Then we would get little bit of air. the washer and dryer came in very handy. same as the blender microwave coolers and beach chairs balls and toys provided. We had an awesome stay and will definitely recommend. The pros really outweigh the cons here especially when you consider the price and location. The transaction went very smoothly and we had quick replies and even spoke to Thomas over the phone without a problem. Oh, and one last thing, the girls in our group would love a full length mirror for next time. Thank you for helping make our vacation a great one.

  First, all correspondence with Thomas went really smoothly, speedy replies and accurate information. The apartment itself was just as good as advertised. There was extra towels, enough kitchenware for cooking and eating. The location is perfect. Of course, a central location means noise, but it wasn't too bad and we slept like babies. The complimentary parking space was a good thing too, the cheapest garage is 8 blocks away and costs $16 a night, so you save a lot in, say, a week. If (or when) we're going to Miami again, this is most definitely the first accommodation we look for availability.

  My girls and I stayed at this condo for Columbus Day weekend and we enjoyed everything about this condo except it didn't have enough mirrors for six girls. Otherwise, I would recommend this condo to anyone/ anytime. The next time I go to Miami Beach, I would love to stay here again if Thomas (the owner) doesn't mind. As far as getting around everything is right there so you really don't need a car but there's free parking (which is great) in case you decide to get a rental. Everything was pretty accurate as well. The thing I liked most was the owner made it his business to have good customer service to make you feel comfortable renting this particular condo.

  This place is right in the heart of the action of South Beach. Plus, the fact that there is a dedicated parking spot behind a secure gate is very much an added plus. Easy access to just about everywhere. Easy walking distance to the beach. All of the restaurants on Ocean Drive are just minutes away. The only real downside to this place is that it is close to the restaurants on Ocean Drive and the trash collectors and delivery people tend to get started pretty early in the morning. That tends to be a small distraction considering the location and the parking spot. Did I mention the parking spot???

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

  Property had everything you could ever need, full kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, tv, etc. We were able to pick up wireless just fine in the front room. Location was brill, and Thomas replied to all emails with full assistance. Was worried by 1 bathroom between 6 of us staying but was ine, plenty of towels provided, as well as beach chairs umbrella etc.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  I just stayed here for a week for the first week of May 2011. I was happy with it and I can recommend it. The Good: - Close to Ocean, half a block from Lummus Park, which is on the beach. 5 minute walk to water. - It has a parking spot. In South Beach parking is dear and can cost $20. - Comfortable: It is a nice little condo. It has enough room for a couple or small family. - Washer/Dryer: It has a small clothes washing machine and dryer inside. Great for washing the salt out of your beach clothes. - The A/C kicks ass! - The owner was great. He answered my calls. Was nice and responsive. The Ugly: - Not that clean: The cleaner the owner uses doesn't do a very good job. Don't touch the window sills, or look under the beds. They haven't been cleaned or vacuumed in a looong time. I tried to open the windows in the small bedroom. But the sill was so dirty that I was afraid to touch it. - Tight Parking: I was given a large car by by rental company. The parking spot is very tight. So if you aren't so good at tight parking, and parallel parking, rent a small car to make your life easier. - Only 1 set of keys: There is only 1 set of keys. So you have to coordinate if you have two or people going different places. - Beach toys: There is only 1 beach chair to use, and it is broken. The screws holding the arm rest are gone. Oh well. The Bad: - The Alley: This isn't the condo's fault. There is an alley (Ocean Ct) behind the condo that is used by the restaurants on Ocean Drive for service. Every morning between 7am and 9am the alley is filled with loud trucks. The worst is the daily garbage truck. For about 30 minutes it sounds like a construction project as they winch out the trash bins and empty them. So don't plan on sleeping in to 10. The trucks wake you for breakfast and to get down to the beach! - No internet: The owner claimed I could just use the WiFi for the hotel next door. Not true. All the WiFi networks in range are now locked down. Tips: (1) Don't take the keys to the beach. Put then in the lockbox. That way you won't loose them in the sand! (2) Use DecoBike to rent a bike. There is a station 1 block away on the beach (9th and Ocean). Great way to get around. (3) You don't need a car. Use DecoBike or walk. Use MIA Airport Flyer to get to/from airport ($2.30).

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  I stayed in the condo for 1 week with my wife and my little daughter. The first impression was terrible, the condo was incredible dirty, the door of the main bedroom do not even fit in the mark (and of course did not close) and there was not a door in the closet in the second bedroom, and there was not a door in the laundry. My wife even found a condom under the bed!! The condo is not very comfortable. We are not clean freaks, but the only thing that I ask for a place is to be clean, and this was not the case. The kitchen was also dirty. We have to clean the fridge and oven. Also the apartment was very noisy, but not because the parties in South Beach, it is because it is in the middle of a service street in thee back of many restaurants, so is very noisy 24/7, and it is not the kind of noise that you get use to it. (loud talking, trash cans, etc.) The furniture is old fashioned and the lines are very old. When I call the guy to complaint about the lack of cleaning, he said something like: What do you expect for the money that are you paying in South Beach!! Just great.

There have been many guests & reviews placed upon the Homeaway site ... and we have consistantly remained in the 4 to 5 Star category ... However, there are apparently some guests that would use the Homeaway review system ... as a means to compel the the Owners to provide further discounts or cash payment for excellent reviews ... This will NEVER be accepted ... even if our ratings are to become effected... Our Condominium is cleaned by a professional service and the Condo is reviewed by a property manager prior to our guests arrival ... Which is why the Condo has consistantly remained in the 4 to 5 Star category ... Again, I would like to thank our many guests for their honest & forthright reviews ... reviews which were not requested ... nor purchased ... See you back on SOBE soon !
