Location: Savannah, Coastal, Georgia, USA (15 Minutes from Downtown Savannah) View Map
Accommodations: Condo, 1 Bedroom + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)
Keywords: Studio condo
This is a studio unit - formerly a hotel now a condotel! We own two (2) one bedroom units that has the only ocean view on the property (upstairs) and has been recently renovated. Unit 227 as recently been remodeled and as you can tell by the pictures has a country french/riviera decor and is absolutely beautiful!
Our other unit #114 is on the first floor just steps from the swimming pool. It has recently been remodeled in a Key West/Bahamas style and is gorgeous! The property has a microwave and small refrigerator. There are icemakers, BBQ grill, and vending machines on site.
The property is on 16th Street right in the middle of everything! It is steps from the Tybee Pier which usually has a band on the weekends and is 50 yards from the ocean. Restaurants, shopping, etc. is right there - you don't need a car!
If you do have a car, we are 15 minutes from downtown Savannah. Take a ghost tour or horse drawn carriage ride. Make sure you eat at Paula Deen's Restaurant - The Lady and Sons!

We stayed on tybee so my girlfriend could run the "Rock and Roll Savannah" 1/2 marathon. Upon arrival, we were greated by a friendly face to check in which took all of 10 minutes. This is a conversion hotel so some of the building looked its age but everything...including the elevator worked fine. The pool was crystal clear but it was too cold to go swimming while we were there. The room was tastefully decorated and had a mini fridge and microwave. King size bed was soo very comfortable. The water pressure wasnt that great but useable. This unit is on the top floor over looking the street so you can hear the "louder people" on the street when the bars are in full swing. Not annoying to us, but maybe a factor to others. Its close to at least 6-8 bars/resturants as well as 1/4 block to the beach. We didnt goto the pavillion, but its a 3 minute walk to get to that, even at a snails pace. Overall - I would come back and stay here again for a long weekend. We paid $79 a night and had a great time. Thank you Tybee Island and Sea & Breeze.

When checking in we were advised to NOT use the elevator for anything other than sending our luggage up to our floor. In retrospect, the person was being nice enough to warn us, but it should have been a red flag. Our stay was from Wed through Sunday. On Saturday, I inquired at the office as to when our room would be cleaned. At this point I was told it should have been done. The list was checked and the gentleman confirmed it should have been cleaned, and the best he could do was give us clean towels. I inquired as to where the stopper was for the bath tub (reported this on Friday) and was told the maintenance person was at Home Depot trying to obtain one but it wasn't looking good. The employee gave us a noon check out because of the hassles we had incurred. On Sunday, I had little confidence in anything I had been told so walked to the front office to verify late checkout prior to shopping/eating prior to leaving when I was told by yet another employee that the general manager had said there would be no late checkouts. At this point, even though I was leaving, I asked again about the stopper for the bath tub and was told by female employee that "this was a first" for her when she was told I had asked for a stopper for the bath tub because "no one wants to take baths, they want showers"....essentially telling me that my vacation wishes and the money I spent at this establishment was really not important to her. I have to say this is the first and last time I will ever stay at this hotel. From no internet service in the rooms as advertised, no bath tub use, elevator not working, no cleaning service, and most of all the arrogance of some of the employees (Sunday morning employees) making me feel that my comfort was not their problem, it was pretty much a horrible experience.
Owner response:Hello, I am the owner of this condo. My records do not even indicate that you stayed in this condo. All of the condos in this building are individually owned. I believe that you must have booked elsewhere and are confusing my condo with someone else's. Before you post something derogatory, please make sure that you have the right owner. This could impact my business tremendously. Lindy
