View from deck on Fall day - Smokey Mountains Cabin Rental "Linda Vista (Beautiful View) is what you'll have when you step out onto the spacious screened-in deck on the main floor of this beautiful mountain cabin. Watch the spectacular sunrises over the Blue Ridge Mountains while sitting on the rocking chairs enjoying your favorite morning beverage. Situated on a heavily wooded acre on the side of Dickey Mountain you'll likely see or hear wild turkey, rustling deer, woodpeckers or other wildlife. The cabin is easily accessible by paved roads. The last .5 mile is a well maintained gravel road. Start your mornings with a nice brisk walk up or down Dickey Mountain and meet the friendly neighbors. Less than 1.5 miles from the Cabin is a new miniature golf area, a great restaurant, a convenience store and a deli. As you spread out from there you'll find most any type of activities, shops and restaurants within a few miles. The Cabin is spacious, 1170 sq. ft. on the main floor, with an additional 900 sq. ft. on the lower level. The single car garage will accommodate most full size vehicles. Every room is fully furnished and well appointed. Both bedrooms have queen size beds and full baths. The Cabin has a new Central Air/Heat system with an advanced Clean Air Control System. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, and small appliances, enough to satisfy any gourmet cook! You'll enjoy the mountain view while relaxing in the new 3 person Hot Tub. Murphy, NC, is well situated between the beautiful Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests and numerous lakes and rivers that offer boat ramps, boat rentals and swimming. If golfing is your interest there is a well maintained golf course within 10 miles. If you're interested in day excursions there are several destinations to choose from, to name a few; the famous Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC; Pigeon Forge (Dollywood) in TN; and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. Whether a relaxing, quiet week is your goal, or an action packed week, you'll enjoy it while staying at the "Linda Vista" Cabin.
