  This was a last minute Labor Day/Birthday weekend trip for the two of us (mid-50s, empty nesters) and James' unit was ideal for us. Pluses: southwest-facing big patio on 2nd floor overlooking pool, pond and ocean beyond the dunes and sunsets; well appointed with quality windows/doors/tile/granite/window dressings/ furniture/applicances/fixtures/utensils/linens/towels etc.; full size washer and dryer rather than the usual over/under; elevators are close to unit and fast but only 16 steps if you want to take the stairs as the unit on the second floor of 4 story building; great stereo system with individual volume controls in the walls for every room; walk to Goatfeathers for steamed shrimp; not a huge complex so beach was not crowded; walk to Gulf Place; gated complex that is set back from the road with an low key entrance so be careful you don't miss it; great desk nook for computer work and lots of cabinets; bed was very comfortable; very responsive and easy to reach owner James is a local realtor who takes his rental business seriously. Although not quite "homey" as places we have stayed where the owner is also an occupant, this unit is much nicer than the typical "investor" units that are bland and everything is cheap. Minor minuses: the bunk room is for small children only with no closet so your teens won't fit although they would have a full bath to use but it was a great place for us to store our bikes and all our beach gear; master bath only has one vanity despite being large enough for a double so we ended up using both bathrooms; would have preferred a King in the master. There were a couple of very small inconveniences that I've shared with James that I'm sure he'll address immediately. As we prepared to leave the wife said: "I could live here".

  This visit was our third one to San Remo but first time using this unit. The owner has done a great job in furnishing the condo in a functional manner, with speakers throughout the space and built-in cabinets that provide ample storage space. Space was perfect for our family of five, and of course, as with previous visits to San Remo, we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and swimming pool. We would definitely plan on renting this unit in the future.

  My husband and had an awesome weekend at San Remo! It was everything we expected and more. The decor was good, view was great, and overall stay was fabulous. I have already recommended this condo and will again. We are looking forward to a return visit.

  This was a wonderful unit to stay in (205). The owner was extremely informative and accommodating! The unit was decorated very nice and had everything we needed and then some. It was comforting to be in a gated property since we had our children and another family with children to feel safe in all aspects. We not only will stay in this particular property again, but will recommend San Remo to all we know. We are also interested in staying in a 2 bedroom + bunk area later on maybe in May. Any info this owner has will greatly be appreciated. We ate out one evening at Stinky's Fish Camp and enjoyed it thoroughly! The food was divine. Thank you for your hospitality and a new home away from home to come back to. Can't wait until next time :) Would not change a thing. Sincerely, Happy Holder Guests

  Great Condo! Everything was perfect! James was very accurate in answering my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone! The condo was very spacious and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was very updated with granite counter-tops. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and ocean view from the large balcony. Thank you James! Wonderful trip and hope to come back next year.

  James was such a pleasure to deal with. He represented this condo accurately and honestly. We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at San Remo. It was quiet, cozy and safe. The condo was very nice and the balcony was a great place to start the day off while enjoying our morning cup of coffee. The kids enjoyed the bunk room, their own TV and XBOX. We all enjoyed the short boardwalk to the beach and feeding the turtles in the lake. We experienced no problems and look forward to next year's vacation.

  Again I take my hat off to James for providing us with the best vacation spot ever! Smooth jazz can be heard throughout the condo thanks to an incredible surrond sound system. Just close your eyes and imagine hearing those smooth sounds while rocking outside on the patio and the smell of bbq coming from the outdoor grill. Lots of shopping and entertainment or sink your feet in the white sand beaches. We did it ALL. Can't wait to come back!

  This is a very nice location and safe for the whole family. The beach is in view beyond the pool and pond that has a spraying fountain. I was by myself and felt very secure at this gated condo. It is all in sight and just a step away. No need to go anywhere if you dont want to. Very nice condo but I'm there for the beach. Sugar white beach. To eat, I always go to Smiling fish for lunch and dinner.

  My husband, my daughter (11) and I really ejoyed our stay at this condo. The unit is very nicely decorated and is very cofortable. Most of all we liked the views of the gulf from the very large balcony.

  Our family has stayed at San Remo for two years now. We absolutely love the place. It has a beautiful pool, wonderful workout area and beautifully decorated condos. The place was immaculate. In all honesty, the pictures don't do it justice. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping, larger towns were close by and everything is nicely maintained. We tell everyone we see about San Remo. Be sure and try Goatfeathers. They have great daily specials at lunch and you can't beat the food. The owner went out of his way personally to help us with a situation that was far above what was expected. Can't wait to get back. It feels like home!
