This is a legal short term rental. Be careful, many are not and you risk getting booted from it before or during your stay.

All the conveniences of Denver are just 30 minutes away. Surround yourself with the Rockies without spending hours and gallons to get to the crowded ski areas. We are at 8500 feet above sea level.
Main level vaulted ceiling throughout. Main floor master. BR2 and main bath are also on this level.
Garden level has two bedrooms and a bath, family room and garage. Huge decks on both levels.

Doing business in Denver? RTD bus service to downtown, Denver federal center, etc for $9.5 round trip.
We have a Nikken HEPA air purifier available upon request.
Showings are $30 payable in advance and subject to mutual availability.
With a cancellation about every quarter, send an inquiry for booked time and we'll let you know if it opens up.
If you inquire and you don't hear from us in 4-12 hours, please check your spam folder.
We were the first in Evergreen and boy has it grown since. we are a legal short term rental. Many are not and you could be booted from an illegal one.
4PM check-in and 10AM check-out.
4WD recommended October thru March.
All taxes are included. We have two simple rules: leave no messes and have the last load washing.
Cancellation fee: up to two months before arrival: $30. Between 1 to 2 months before arrival: 1/2 the rent. Less than a month before arrival: all of the rent. If the rent has not been paid, the deposit is applied to the rent. In any case, rebooked nights are refunded 100% per diem.
Our policy serves one primary purpose: committed reservations that plan to follow thru.
Be smart, rent from us instead of getting ripped off by tiny hotel or b&b.

We're Martians. The mother ship dropped us off and gave us the task of buying and fixing up 400 homes in Evergreen so that when they come back, we'll have places for them all. ;-)
Why the Owner Chose Evergreen
We got this one when we moved to Evergreen from Nebraska with my mom. She then moved to Arizona and its too big for just us.

We had a group of 10 stay here over a weekend. The home is spacious and beautiful and the views are amazing. I would choose to stay here over any luxury hotel any day. The home offers so much more than any hotel and it's in an awesome location in the mountains, yet only about 30 minutes from Denver. We were so happy we chose to stay here, it definitely made our trip more enjoyable. Everything you could need or want, the house has, and the couple was great to work with and responded quickly to everything. If this is one of your considerations of where to stay, choose to stay here and I promise you will not be disappointed. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

This house is in a nice location with a great view. The sunrise over the mountains is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. We plan on staying here again.

A man's home is his castle. We are finishing up 4 unforgettable weeks here at this glorious castle. Simply put, it has been amazing. Such luxury. We loved the views, the fox, the deer, the views, the privacy. Did I mention the views? Amenities are all over the top, everything you could want. Only 7 minutes to I-70. As nice as any ski area luxury home. Our only complaint is the oven controls are complicated, but that goes with the territory. The granite island in the kitchen is the biggest we've ever seen. Don't' come for the granite, come for the amenities and the views. In my opinion, its too nice to be a rental! Rebecca was great to work with. She helped my wife a couple of times. We'll be sure to come back.

Coming from The Netherlands, we (a group of 4 couples) stayed at the house for 4 days. After a 14 hours flight and a 1 hour ride from the Denver airport, we were tired but very impressed by the house. The sunny deck, the kolibries, the hot tub, the deer, the t.v., the kitchen, the bedrooms, what more could you want? Just returned home after visiting the most beautiful part of the U.S., we think of the house as one of the highlights of our 3,5 week trip. We can certainly recommend this house as a starting or ending point for trips from Denver, because the house is ideal for relaxing, but also within a 35 mile radius from the best city sights of Denver (Red Rock amphitheatre, Roxborough S.P., downtown Denver, Boulder, the Colorado Mills, shopping, etc.) and the Rockies. Wow. We just left after our week at this home in Evergreen and we miss it already. It is just as it is in the listing. It was very clean and had a great open floor plan to make it a perfect place to spend time with friends while cooking and watching tv or talking. The balconies are AMAZING. The view at night of Denver over the mountains is breathtaking. We did see a lot of birds and even a red fox coming up the hill one afternoon. The owner's were very easy to work with and all transactions went smoothly. If we ever come back to the Denver area again with a large group, we will definitely be looking into renting this property again. Only bad thing is NO ONE DELIVERS HERE. No pizza, nothing. The town is only a 15 minute drive away (most of that time being spent driving down the switchbacks on the mountain) but there are supermarkets and a lot of local eateries and your basic chain fast food places. Our favorite part of the vacation was taking the Lariat Loop (74) down past a beautiful lake, then through what looked like the main drag of Evergreen, down a lovely winding road down the mountain to Red Rocks. I would definitely suggest going down this loop and pulling off and hiking around at all the pull offs and of course hiking at Red Rocks.

Our family (8 + a baby) had a wonderful stay at this property over a long weekend. We're from Denver and didn't want to drive multiple hours for just a weekend, so decided to try Evergreen. We were pleasantly surprised to only drive a short distance from Denver yet still have the mountain experience we were looking for! The home was clean, open, welcoming and very comfortable for our large family. We especially loved the great view of Denver from the hot tub on the deck, the relaxing fireplace and the herd of deer that welcomed us in the morning. I would recommend this property to anyone, the owners were great to work with and our family felt right at home from the minute we arrived.

My husband and I have stayed in this house twice and love it!! We first visited in late November 2007 and had such a wonderful time we came back and brought our Mom with us in October of 2008. Like us, she was entranced by the awesome view from the main floor and decks of the house. The beauty and tranquility you experience here is amazing. The house is inviting and cozy, it has everything you need - it feels like home! So much so we call it "our house"! It's close to downtown Evergreen,stores, great restaurants and the lake. We had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca (& the birdies) this time and both her and Keith are very nice and do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. Stay here- you will love it too!!

This is a fabulous place to stay. The decor is amazing. This house has the most taste full decorating I ever seen in a rental house. The windows and view make the stay a dream vacation. Anytime I stay in the Denver area I will be back. It is great not having to stay in a hotel with the four wall syndrome and with the rate so competitive and only a three day minimum. The choice becomes a no-brainer.
