New one bedroom has a modern decor with new furnishings. The apartment is on the ground floor facing a very quiet courtyard. It has all of the amenities of home including a flat screen tv with cable and an iMac computer with high speed internet. The sofa is from Design Within Reach and can be made into a king bed or two singles. The bedroom has a queen bed and can sleep two. Fresh linens and towels are provided soap, shampoo, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything from a microwave to pots and pans. There is also coffee and tea provided.

The apartment is located on 16th St and 7th Ave, just a short walk to Union Square, the Meatpacking District and Greenwich Village. With two subway stations near by, Times Square, Central Park and Lower Manhattan are just a quick subway ride from your doorsteps.

Chelsea has recently become a melting pot of many cultures. Above 23rd Street, by the Hudson River, the neighborhood is industrial or post-industrial, featuring the newly-hip High Line that follows the river all through Chelsea. Eighth Avenue is a center for gay culture, and from 20th to 22nd street between Ninth and Tenth avenue, mid-nineteenth century brick and brownstone townhouses are still occupied, a few even restored to private use.

  • The apartment is cute, toasty warm, and quiet. It's located near the subway and the WestSide Market on 15th which we loved. The Chelsea Market on 9th is also close by. It's only a 4 block walk to the Hudson River. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. Ian Willson & family

  • Renting an apartment from strangers always takes a leap of faith, but Viet and Liezl quickly put your mind at rest. Everything went smoothly, from quick email replies to a warm welcome when we arrived. If you've never been to New York, you couldn't do better than this location, right smack dab in the middle of a REAL NY address. It's ideal location is two blocks away from 3 major subway lines, making it dead easy to get anywhere. The apartment is cosy but very manageable for two adults and two kids. We adored coming home to it after a long day of adventure. The locals were always super friendly, and we quickly found the good nearby places for food, groceries, bank, coffee, and even a cheap manicure! We have rented apartments in several major cities, and would have it no other way. This place was just what we were looking for.

  • Liezl and Viet, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very nice, and so very clean, also very comfortable. Was very relaxing at night, so quiet after a full day of walking all over NYC. The location is great. Close to subways and buses. We loved the WestSide Market at 7th Ave. and 15th St., also Chelsea Mkt. on 9th Ave. We hope to be back next May and look forward to staying here again.   • Un petit appartement très sympathique avec tout le necessaire pour y vivre... télévision, internet, fer à repasser, frigo, sèche cheveux etc... Le quartier, proche du métro, des restaurants et des supérettes, est vraiment idéal. De plus, les propriétaires sont des gens très charmants et font tout pour vous arranger. A recommander +++++
