Very nice beach home, it was great to have a bathroom with each bedroom. Easy access to the beach which was not as crowded as Myrtle Beach. Small pool worked perfect to cool off after the beach or just to lounge around. The whole area seemed to have a small town atmosphere with lots of activities for the kids.We also like the fact that you did not have to go out onto highway 17 to get to the grocery store(Krogers).
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We have stayed in this home twice, once in 2007 and then again last fall. Garden City Beach is beautiful in September -- the beach isn't crowded, the weather is great and the water is still warm. This house has been a place of much enjoyment for me and my extended family. The kids always enjoy the pool, and the march views are spectacular. It is a relatively short walk to the beach, and a short drive to Murrell's inlet in the evening for some great seafood. We love this place!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
