This was the second time we have used this wonderful apartment in January. The position is close to everything and the apartment is wondefully appoointed and comfortable. Everything worked like a dream and the facilities at Vail Spa and are exremely comprehensive and kept my 15 and 18 year olds occupied. The staff that run Vail Spa are young, friendly and energetic and really helpful . The owners are also wonderful, helpful and friendly and one day I hope to meet them and thank them personally for such a wonderful stay. I am looking forward to using this aprtment again. P.S. The apartment was wonderfully quiet.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a nice stay at the Vail Spa. The units first floor location is quite convenient and it is on a wing by itself which made it more private and quiet. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The unit was clean and comfy, but on the small side. There is traffic noise from I-70 in the master bedroom but not an issue unless you are a very light sleeper.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.

I absolutely loved Vail and this was the perfect place to stay for my friends and I. The location was walking distance to Lionshead ski lift as well as all the shops and restaurants, which made it very easy to get around. High end finishes in the condo made the stay enjoyable. Such as the kitchen and the ensuite master bathroom. First time I've every felt heated tile, it was amazing. I honestly didn't notice any street noise. It was very quiet inside and I was able to get a full nights sleep each time. The front desk was very helpful and they always have coffee, tea and hot apple cider available in the lobby lounge area. Great amenities within the facility. We would look forward to spending time in one of the two hot tubs at the end of each ski/snowboard session. The full gym was also an added bonus. This is the only condo with private storage for skis and snowboards. As well as access to a nearby locker room for extra equipment. Overall an amazing find in Vail and I'm looking forward to future stays in the coming years.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This condo and it's great location met all our needs for a wonderful summer stay. It is close to walking trails which we took advantage of each morning. It is also close to the free shuttle service which made our excursions around town very easy for us. We only used our rental car for arrival & departure so it was nice having a parking garage to leave car and not worry about it. I also enjoyed the computer station and free coffee/tea in the lobby. No, I am not that wired, but it was nice having the capability to send off an email to family, etc. We didn't watch too much TV as too busy sight seeing, attending concerts, etc. However, this condo unit has a nice supply of DVDs and several reading books for those who want a more quiet evening after a busy day. This unit is at the end of a first floor hallway so no noise from guests coming and going. It has an easy outdoor exit so no need to go through the main lobby with bikes/skiis. I can't think of anything that would be a negative. We were very please with this condo and look forward to a future stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

The unit was inexpensive and convenient to Lionshead lifts as advertised, but the unit faces the highway, and the amount of road noise is oppressive. Trucks going by at all hours made for very poor sleep in both bedrooms. (Because Vail Spa is next to the highway, I asked the owners about this before booking, and was told it was not a problem.) The furnishings and bedding could also stand to be updated.Owner response: Valley Vail is long and narrow. Probably 50% of the condo buildings in Vail border either side of I-70. When I was asked about this, I honestly said, "Yes, but this has not been a problem for most of our guests". Actually... about 40% of our bookings are return guests who love our condo. The dining table is a few years old and yes the dry air has been hard on it. We will replace next summer. The 2nd bathroom has just been remodeled replacing the tub unit with a fully tiled walk-in shower. We also put in new carpet this month. This is a bright, open and sunny unit. Also, we gave this guest an incredible end of season rate. We are not a 5 Star hotel, nor do we pretend to be. What our unit does have is extremely easy access, in a great building with a wonderful lobby, friendly front desk staff , 2 heated swimming pools and spas (indoor & outdoor), gorgeous kitchen with all the amenities, exercise/workout room, inside the unit wireless internet... with extremely reasonable rates that the majority of our guests rave about.

The place was great. Everything was spotless. The front desk staff were very helpful even though we rented directly from the owners. Parking was free and convenient. A luggage cart was available. It was a 5 minute walk to the Lion's Head gondola and a free bus across the street provided access to the rest of Vail. Entry to the condo was by code pad so we didn't need to share (or lose) keys. The kitchenette was well equipped. The lighting and furniture were great. The space was more than enough for the three of us, but probably tight for the 6-7 it can accommodate. The master bath was luxurious, but the water in the secondary bathroom shower was not hot enough. Linens were ample and in good condition. We didn't use the electronics (other than wifi) but they seemed good. The only downside was that the unit is close to I-70 (the master bedroom faces it) so there was constant road noise.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We had a great time in Vail. Condo was perfect and had everything we needed. Kids were very excited about the extensive DVD collection and loved the full size bunkbeds. Very easy to get to everything in Lionshead by foot or hop on the very convenient free bus to Vail village. Appreciated the restaurant tips and loved Ford Park. Thanks so much.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This is a great condo for the money. The location is walking distance to most everything you want to do. The bus stop (free service) is also close in case you want to do something in the central part of Vail. You won't get a view, but you will get to be away from other units so coming and going does not bother anyone. We were up early and leaving way before the crack of dawn for a bike event. We did not have to worry about the noise. We even had our own access in and out of the building. I highly recommend this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

What a great place to stay! We booked this unit for a summer lacrosse tournament and it was perfect. It has all the amenities and easy access to just about everything in Vail. The bus stop is across the street and all the villages, shops and restaurants are within a short walk. The girls working at the front desk were extremely helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay at this place again. One thing that would be nice is a sleeper sofa.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
