The location will allow for day trips to Nimes (the ancient Roman City), Uzes (a small jewel of seventeenth century architecture with lots of charm), Le Pont du Gard (the amazing 2000 year old aqueduct built by the Romans), Avignon (once the imposing Pope city, site of the internationally renowned Festival), and much more! Or if you simply want to do nothing, lie down and relax outside in the Mediterranean sun by the pool.
The house - a 30 minute-drive from nearest airport and TGV station (in Nîmes, Gard) - is located in Garrigues Ste Eulalie, a small village 8 kilometres from historical Uzès.
Built on a 3000 square metre olive grove, it is a modern one-level provençal house with three bedrooms, two baths, a very large open living area with loft (with a two-person futon) and a modern kitchen.
Six to eight people can be accommodated in complete comfort.
Amenities include a 9.5 x 4.5 meter swimming pool, and large sunning deck and sunny terrace, with full south exposure. Shady back yard in an oak grove.
Electr(on)ic equipment includes TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo, CD player, phone, dish-washer, microwave oven, washer, charcoal grill, etc. It is a smoke free environment
Activities on site or near by: biking (two bikes are available on-site), tennis, swimming (first Mediterranean sea resort is 45 kilometres away), hiking, sightseeing, etc.
