The Retreat at Pipestem is a 10 acre secluded property, directly adjacent to Pipestem State Park and Resort. It offers the quietness and solitude of being deep in the woods, away from it all, and yet has all the activities the beautiful State Park has to offer close at hand. Some, such as swimming, fishing, hiking, golf and dining are only 10 to 15 minutes away by foot.
The cabin is only a few years old and was completely remodeled and newly furnished in 2007. It is open and spacious, yet cozy. A wrap around porch offers beautifully wooded views of sunrise and sunset.
The main level consists of a dining area and full kitchen, a powder room and comfortable living area. Sliding glass doors open to the back deck.
Upstairs is a master bedroom with separate bath (toilet - shower - sink) and two other bedrooms which share a bath. (shower, sink and toilet).
Lower level.
There is one bedroom here, with two twin beds, built into the wal. While perfectly suitable for adults, it's specially children who love this room. There is no bathroom on this level.
The area around Pipestem offers extensive activities, many at walking distance from the Retreat and others within a short drive.

We stayed here last year. The home was very nice and very clean. We stayed 2 nights and wish it would have been longer! The soaker tub upstairs was heaven! Hope to visit again soon!

I have stayed in both of the cabins offered here at the Retreat at Pipestem and I can assure you the photo's and description here do not do justice! The facilities at the cabin are much better than anyone would expect and the resort area is fantastic. When traveling to that area, I would not consider staying anywhere else!

Our Family got together for a early Thanksgiving Celebration at Pipestem. Our adult children drove from NY and we arrived from Georgia. The cabin was exactly as descriped clean and neat and everything in working order. We had a wonderful time and would love to return for another visit.
