We had friends from Charlotte and my Mom (She is 98 with a walker)and friends from Nashville come stay with my wife and I for another retreat. This is our third trip to Gatlinburg area. We found this home VERY... Upscale! So, I took a moment to say, if your looking for a home for friends and family, or for "busines friends" and everyone wanted to do something different. I found we could all find something to entertain us. Worth the $$ to usRecommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

I enjoyed this week immensely. My family and I are from Chattanooga and sometimes 5 of us get together, and sometime 15 of us do. This week was a blessing. This home was a perfect place for us to gather, cook and ALL eat at the same table, 20 of us graced the dining table together. The temperature was perfect, first it was 50s and then it snowed later in the week. I think I speak for us all that this place made our trip magical. Its is a must return to home for all of us now. ThanksRecommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed here with several of my friends. This house is all it says and more! The views are captivating from the back porch and the house is clean, comfortable and very easy to maneuver around. Have stayed at other homes in the Gatlinburg area, but none of them compare to this one. Would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this lodge for 11 couples. What made it so perfect is, there were 11 bedrooms, each with a king bed, private bath & TV, so there was no squabbling over who got the best room. They were all the same and very comfortable. We were able to seat all 22 of us at the table for meals which was a first for our large crowd. The amenities were fantastic. We all loved it and did not want to leave. All my friends thought I was so smart for finding the perfect accommodations. The views were spectacular, the pool, hot tub, sauna, media room and game room were an added bonus to such a lovely lodge. We will definitely be back. We loved our stay !!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

If you are thinking about a memorable family reunion or large group get together, this is the cabin to consider. Beautifully maintained and managed. The listing and photos are accurate in its description of the accomodations. The kitchen is well outfitted for cooking and the appliances are in good working order. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our requests for assistance during the stay. The cabin is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge both with many family-friendly activites and restaurants. There is no better recommendation than to say that we are "hooked" and use this cabin for our family Christmas every year!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and all the kids (and the grandkids) were looking for a place we could all meet in a central location. Gatlinburg proved perfect. Next was finding a place for us all to stay that was affordable. That was difficult, until we landed on this website and FOUND this home. We loved this home so much we will be coming again in 2 weeks. I was reading reviews and thought why not write one myself. I LOVED the elevator, dont get around well. Looking forward to all of us being together again, all in the same beautiful home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

Cedar Twin Lodge was everything the pictures made it out to be. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this cabin to family, friends & co-workers. Melissa and Diane are very skill and friendly. My family and I will be staying in the Cedar Twin Lodge again in 2013.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The saying, can't get enough of a good thing. If my husband and I could afford too, we would certainly live here. Although the home is HUGE, it has a warmth and cozy feel. Until you get into the kitchen and dining areas!!!! WOW!!! My whole family loved it. I hope this helps others to enjoy it also.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

This was not as handicapped accessible as advertised. The ramp to go into the house was VERY steep, and definitely not ADA compliant. A real concern when it rained!!! There were no handcapped bathrooms or toilets in either of the bedrooms. There was no access to any of the decks. The large deck off the main floor had steps leading down to the deck area. Although we were able to make this work, it should be known that this is not a very handicapped friendly house for someone who is in an electric wheelchair. Also, it is true what they say about the bears. We saw two while there. The view was terrific! The house really worked well for our large family and we enjoyed our stay! We had 24 with us and the thing we will probably remember most is being able to sit down together and enjoy a meal. The kitchen was great for cooking with this large family. The stairs were scary with the babies, but we had plenty of us to watch them. Plenty of parking, because we had a number of vehicles.Recommended for: Families with teenagers

My group of friends (21 of them) has been traveling to east Tennessee for approximately 20 years. We decided to make a change two years ago. Upon researching for a larger and newer property, I came across the Cedar Lodge unit. The photos were breathtaking and we quickly learned after our first visit, they accurately reflected the lodge's beauty. This property is very clean, modern, and well maintained as well as being stocked with everything we need to cook meals, including grilling (gas) on the main deck. It has many amenities that we did not have access to in previous years. We just love the ability to gather around one dininig table (seats 24) and have our meals together in one room. The elevator has been quite handy especially when a couple in our group had surgery and could not navigate stairs. Speaking of stairs, the "vine" staircase is definitely a showpiece! We also enjoy having our own private bathrooms with our bedrooms. The owners/staff are extremely polite and attentive to any needs we have prior to arrival and during our stay. We highly recommend this unit and we hope to return to this beautiful lodge every year possible.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our LARGE family loved this cabin! We had the best time with plenty of space and things to do. The cabin was well-maintained and beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the media room, and the swim spa was really nice to have inside. We loved that it was all decorated for Christmas! Would love to stay here again.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

We had a great time at the Twin Cedar Lodge! but the best part was when we all got up at 5 A.M. and the mama bear and her cubs were outside. After that every morning we got to see the bears at 5 a.m. If i was living here I would get up at 5 a.m. everyday.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 8/10

For our traditional family vacation getaway, The Arnold Family chose this amazing cabin. We could not have been happier with our stay and the comfort of the rooms. With 22 adults, 9 kids (and 2 on the way) it was so special for us to have the beautiful table for dinner and entertainment each night. We loved our stay and cant wait to come back.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6

Our group of twnety people were here for a marriage retreat from Bethsaida Baptist Church in Dublin, GA. The cabin was wonderful! It is large enough to offer privacy for each couple. We are so glad the Lord led us to this place and wonderfully blessed our marriages through the study of his word. We all had a great time!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 8/8

My mother, sisters and cousins spent a wonderful weekend in late February 08 at Twin Cedar Lodge. We ranged in age from 47 to 91 and the accomodations were perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the elevator was useful so my mother and aunt (80 and 91) were able to see the whole house. The swim spa was a pleasant surprise and we used it more than we had expected we would. The media room was the only room we didn't use because at our ages the bean bags were not comfortable. The living room worked wonderful for viewing our movies as those who were working on the puzzles (supplied at the cabin) on the dining room table could watch also. I would recommend this lodge to all my friends for a wonderful get away. Even though there is lots to offer in Gatlinburg there is so much at this lodge you really don't have to leave.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway.
