This is our 5th Year staying at Naples Bay Resort, & our first year staying at this particular condo. Naples Bay Resort is an excellent destination and I would recommend it to anyone. This particular unit however is not so great. Specifically; the carpet is disgusting and needs replacing. The bedding is old and does not fit the beds. The furniture is not fitting to the "tropical" environment and is in sad shape. The kitchen is not well equipped. The vacuum cleaner did not work. The outfit that I rented this place from ("Norgo" Group ) was not very personable nor friendly. I will not stay at this unit again and encourage anyone else to consider the other LOVELY properties on VRBO at the NBR.

My husband and I along with our two teenage daughters just spent a glorious week at Bonita Village. The condo absolutely looked even better than the pictures. The property was fantastic. We loved the two pools (often finding ourselves at the quiet pool all by ourselves even during February school vacation week). The beach was a 5 minute car ride or easy 30 minute walk (Barefoot Beach) and was outstanding...... sunsets were breathtaking. We will definitely come again next year. This is an A++++ property.

Convenient and Comfortable

My husband and I, our two kids and my father stayed here for a week at the end of June. This unit is very nice and it had everything we needed during our stay. My husband and father golfed several mornings (favorite course was Old Corkscrew) and took the car, but the kids and I were able to stay busy at the resort. The fitness center is first rate and my children enjoyed the pools. Their only complaint was the length of the lazy river. All of the staff we encountered at the Naples Bay Resort were friendly and extremely helpful. The service was truly outstanding and all of the food we had at the resort itself was good. While in Naples we visited several different beaches, shopped and dined on 5th Avenue (I recommend Bistro 821), took the Dolphin Explorer on Marco Island (voted favorite by all -- Keewaydin Island is beautiful) and took a day boat trip from Fort Myers to the local beach. I recommend Wynn's Market on 9th street for groceries. It can be pricey, but you will find everything you need and more. We cooked in and dined out. I would recommend Naples and this resort to anyone.

We returned to the condo at the end of January for 10 days, after having had a wonderful trip over Christmas 2008 (see earlier review). Again the condo offered us a wonderful & relaxing vacation in Naples. Everything here is just so easy, from an allocated parking spot just seconds away from the front door, 30 seconds to the wonderful pool, easy 5 minute drive to 5th Avenue, the open plan layout. Everything feels so comfortable. I would also recommend Sushi Thai in Naples. We ate there one evening and then had a take-out and it really is incredible food. Try it if you go.

Best Vacation Ever

This place is absolutely gorgeous! From the moment you step on to the resort everything is beautiful. The grounds are beautifully maintained and landscaped. The condo is practically brand new and has everything you need. There is a large room with a king sized bed and a massive bathroom that makes you wish you could take it home. The other two bedrooms both have double beds and share the second bathroom. There are also TVs in all the bedrooms. We stayed at the resort during the first week and a half of January 2010 and, although the temperature was setting record lows, the pools were all still so warm that we went swimming anyways. You get the impression that the main priority in the resort, condo, and town is to have everything be as nice and comfortable as possible. This resort is situated in the prime area of Naples and you would be very hard pressed to find a better place to stay in the state for either a couple or a family. The only thing that is not within walking distance is a grocery store but there is a farmer's market less that a 5 min walk away. There are lots of tourist attractions within a 20 minute walk and you will never find yourself with nothing to do. (I personally was happy just to stay at the resort) Naples is a beautiful, safe, and clean town and everyone is very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return someday!

Our family had had an incredible time at this condo over the Christmas and New Year. Even the children's chickenpox did not spoil our stay. The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable, spacious, well equipped and just perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 1 child age 2 plus 1 baby) and surpassed all our expectations . We could not have imagined anywhere better to stay. Just to add one last point the photos on-line do not do not do this condo justice, in terms of reflecting the true scale and space of this apartment. We were blown away when we walked in! For anyone with small children check out a local company called Tiny Tikes based in Marco Island who can deliver toys, strollers, highchairs etc. This really enhanced our stay. When we next visit Naples (which is a definite intention) this will certainly be our first port of call. Thank you

We will definitely be back. My husband, 3 kids and I were all happy at this place. Walking into the condo we were so pleased to find it comfortable, very sunny and furnished beautifully. There was plenty of room for all of us and everything we needed for our stay was available. From kitchen supplies, to hair dryers and even a pack and play! The pool was a favorite destination for our kids and the work out facility and spa were wonderful. The owners were very accomodating and easy to work with. Location was perfect - lots to do in the area (we rented a car). Thanks for a great vacation.

The resort at Naples Bay has been a getaway for me and my friends for the last three years. It is AMAZING. The amenities of the resort are really accessible and always clean and ready to use. There is a beautiful, fully equipped GYM that faces one of the five luscious pools so you look forward to a work out and to post work-out. The pools are the best I have had the pleasure to swim in; the variety of pools and Jacuzzi are vast and splendid. The Staff from the Front Desk to the Gym Manager are super friendly and helpful and really make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The resort is well kept and a joy. The cottage itself is well equipped with a fully equipped and expansive kitchen, Jacuzzi bathtub, a large shower an enclosed patio (screened and surrounded by lush green plants), Internet connection, central air conditioning and beautiful views of the surrounding area. I highly recommend the stay here and you cannot beat the price!!! BEAUTIFUL & ACCESSIBLE – SPA/ POOL/Sun’ FUN. CLOSE proximity to my favorite restaurant while in Naples, Sushi Thai!!! I highly recommend a NAPLES BAY RESORT VACATION or Business STAY.

Nurtured in Naples Our family of 4 adults and 2 elementary aged children had a fabulously fun week...weather delightful, condo well equipped, very comfortable, conveniently located. Loved the pool, walking distance to downtown shops and miniature golf, as well as moderately priced River Walk places. Morning coffee on the lanai was perfect. Easy drives to Bearfoot beach and Marco Island were terrific for ocean fun and shelling.

What a luxurious getaway. We totally enjoyed our two weeks’ stay at this lovely restful place. The furnishings are first rate, both comfortable and beautiful with every amenity we could require. The surrounding pools, play areas, tennis and complete workout facility were again both beautiful and perfect in function. The location is close (driving or walking) to old Naples with extensive shopping, beaches and arts. In short we loved it.

GREAT NAPLES VACATION GETAWAY This Condo is great! The resort has every amenity imaginable and the condo itself is beautiful. Although the resort is not on the beach, it is very near the beach and has the best swimming area I've seen in Naples, a huge professionally staffed gym, a spa, kids camp, tennis courts, fitness classes- you name it. The condo is exquisite - it is luxurious but very kid friendly; even had DVD's appropriate for my 3 and 6 year old. You need to bring nothing - the condo is fully stocked and equipped. The owners are also so so nice - very refreshing. I recommend this property to everyone and anyone looking to vacation in Naples, with or without kids.
