Why the Owner Chose Waldport
I chose to purchase this home for a couple reasons...the location of the home on the coast, it's smack dab in the middle close to everything......and the comfort of the home itself. It's perfect for family and my guests have felt the same judging by their comments. Waldport's a sleepier beach town, not as tourist oriented yet, but still has plenty to do. The drive to Newport is quick and beautiful if you're looking for more, gallery hopping, shopping, variety in dining, etc. but when you come back to the house, it's so nice and peaceful. The bigger grocery store in town is within walking distance, so if you don't feel like doing anything just go stock up at Ray's and when you get back, you can just get lost in your own world. I love that.

Our family just got back from spending the fourth of july in this great vaction home. Loved the hot tub, comfy beds and easy access to the little beach on the bay. Not to mention the fire works on the 3rd and the great weather. Will come again!

This was a fabulous vacation spot! We had a great 4th vacation with family and friends! We could cook some incredible meals in the kitchen. It was a short walk to shopping and the beach. We saw the fireworks on the 3rd shot over the bay! We definitely want to come back!

My family of 10 had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Alsea Bay Getaway House! We had a tiny bit of confusion finding the house, but once we got there everything was fantastic. The bonus for us was having the Rays grocery store about 2 blocks from the house, as we always forget something we need at home. The whole family enjoyed the open floor plan upstairs, and we all loved having the hot tub too! We will most definitely come back again soon =D

Our family of 10 truly enjoyed our stay at the Alsea Bay Getaway. With 6 adults and 4 kids (9-16), there was plenty of space! The house is very inviting and comfortable. We never felt crowded with that many people! The foozball table, pingpong table, hot tub and the short walk to the beach kept the kids entertained! The location was great as we had things planned to do from Lincoln City to Florence! We had a fabulous time and the Alsea Bay Getaway will be a big part of our memories! We would stay here again!
