Brought the family of seven to the lake for a week from Washington state and had a great time. The house had everything we could need for everyone (not easy when the kids range in age from 14 to 4) and matched the online description. The house was in great shape and the owners answered several questions via phone and e-mail during the week (very helpful). We highly recommend this house to anyone with large families like ours. All you need to bring is clothing and food; everything else is provided!!!! We went to Silverwood, Hayden State Park, Coeur d'Alene, and we fished a lot; but our favorite thing to do was enjoy time with the family. The house is loaded with games and fun for all ages.

This house was fantastic! Our group of seven adults and three small children had a wonderful stay. Upon entering the home when we first arrived, it was evident that the property is well-maintained and the house was very clean. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, from condiments in the refrigerator, to CD's and movies, to toys and books for the kids. We were given peace of mind with the child proofed cupboards and the baby gates that were provided. The listing quite accurately describes all of the amenities the house has to offer, nothing was missing. We were all extremely comfortable and there was lots of space for everybody. Days were spent at the nearby beach, going for walks or taking a couple of day trips into Coeur d'Alene. Nights were spent relaxing around the fire pit or playing board games. I will absolutely be recommending this property to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful home in a great community. I took my 3 grandsons and we all had a terrific time. Not once did I hear "I'm bored." Everything they could want to do was there. Bikes, fishing poles, games. It was easy to cook with all the condiments. I was so pleased to find everything we needed from cinnamon to tylenol. The layout of the home makes it easy to be together or have some privacy. We hope to go again.

A Home Away From Home

My husband and I brought our children and young grandchildren and the house was set up nicely for all ages. The lake was only a short walk away which was very nice. Property is somewhat close to local activities. We enjoyed the games in the garage and just spending quality time with our family. The owners are very nice and I would reccomend this house to a lot of people. Everyone had a blast! Thanks for opening your home to us!

Wow! everything was simply great. Listing description very accurate, when they say they have everything they mean it. The house was spotless, modern and fantastic views. The owner was extreamly helpfull and answered everything in a very prompt manner. Would I recommend this property? Yes, in a heart beat. Go hang out in Couer d'lane for the day, great beach downtown, if you don't have a boat make sure you rent one for the day to explore the lake. The rest of the time was spent hang out at the house playing games and sleeping in the hammock :))) Knight/Collins family

The house was very accomodating and in great repair. Tons of games and music available as well as a Karaoke machine. I was very pleased to find a main living area WITHOUT a TV. Wireless internet was also a perk most places still don't have. Overall, I would stay there again and found it very hard to leave.

The perfect family/multi-family vacation stay

We were amazed at everything that the house had! Very clean, great view of the lake, and close to Coeur D'Alene. The beach was a little disappointing (lots of seaweed, little sand), but we found an excellent one 25 minutes away. There was everything here for the kids to do. It definately exceeded our expectations....and more!

Another Great Trip to Retreat at the Lake

Our second trip to Retreat at the Lake was again perfect. We had great weather and were entertained the entire time. The house has everything that you could possibly imagine at a lake house. We played hours of ping pong at night and spent the days at the swim beach with the kids. We will definitely be returning in 2 years as Coeur d'Alene is our destination of choice every other year. The lake is just so beautiful...even for Colorado people.

My grandchildren of all ages had a great time.....Thank you for making our trip a happy one...The view of the lake was so inspiring...hope to be able to come again next year at this time....Evrything was here that we needed. I have never stayed in a home with so many thoughtful and useful components. Everything from fishing poles with tackle boxes to bicycles and helmets. Nothing was left out and it made our vacation an amazing success. The boat slip was just down the hill from the house, the wrap around porch was incredible in the evening and the bargeque was a big hit with steaks and burgers. We got our money's worth and much more.

Great house with plenty to do. We entertained 6 teenagers without every hearing the "bored" problem. Lots of fun with games and karaoke. We enjoyed Idaho and would come again. Access to a boat was a must to fully enjoy the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at Retreat at the Lake. There was plenty of room for all of our family and a well stocked kitchen. The garage was full of fun things to take to the lake and use there at the house such as the ping pong table. Our time there was very nice and my kids already miss the lake.

We had a great stay - there was plenty to do for kids and adults with many games, movies, and area activities. The house ammenities are also great - we cooked on the grill almost every night and really enjoyed the pleasant weather.

The cabin on the lake was more than we anticipated. All the comforts of home were provided. It was a great time for our family to reunite. My grandfather just made ice creame with the ice cream maker provided, and we look forward to eating the ice cream later today. We are going to celebrate my grandmother's birthday here, and it's a great retreat before school starts. We have had a lot of fun playing ping-pong, and we would have even more fun if we had a pool table. Two thumbs up!!

WOW!!!!!! We came to have a good time with our four girls. That is exactly what we did! This home is is just incredible. The challenge with our family is the vast age difference between the teens to the toddlers. Our vacation here entertained all ages!!!!! We are all exhausted and so very sad to leave. All of the personal touches were soooooo appreciated. Did I mention how very well we all slept? The beds are heaven!!! We ALL had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house in Cave Bay. The house had lots of games, books, and activities for the kids as well being very well stocked for every kind of situation. This house was amazingly stocked. I was very inpressed with the amount of games, towels and supplies. The house was is in good condition with plenty of room and a great deck to enjoy the view on. LOVED how baby friendly it is. Only things I noticed for improvement....light in the kitchen needed help but still livible with natural lighting and ventilation on hot nights in the upstairs bedroom. Overall, very happy and would rent again.

Came for family gathering, had not been together (all) for 9 plus years. Relaxed, enjoyed playing table games, music, playing and visiting at community park/beach, walks in early morning-swimming. Enjoyed grandbabies and older children. Very enjoyable for relaxing.

Enjoyed the Peace and Quiet. We used the fireplace one night, it was nice while it was raining with thunder and lighting. Took long walks, even saw an eagle and turkeys early in the morning. Fished on the docks, swam at the docks and the beach. Went to Coeur d'Alene to the movies (very convenient). Met neighbors and their guests at the Park while playing horse shoes. Favorite moment was watching the Kids play games.
