between Bristol and Newport Rhode Island. Swim in bay beaches, bicycle on quiet roads, boat, fish, hike and bird watch where ever you stroll. Take the ferry or water taxi for trips to Bristol, Newport and lighthouse and bay tours.
On the highest point of the island overlooking the lighthouse and panoramic views of the Bay is a delightful 2 bedroom 1 bath fully equipped cottage. Adorned with a house-wide deck with furniture enjoy your morning coffee or late-night dinner under the stars.
Hop in your car and take the Prudence Island Ferry from Bristol, Rhode Island. Early advance reservations are strongly recommended. Bring your linens, towels, food and beverages. There are two small stores for limited basic supplies. Liquor stores, restaurants and other amenities are a short ferry or water taxi ride off-island.
The ferry in Bristol to Prudence is approximately 1 hour from the Greene Airport, Providence, Rhode Island; 2 hours from Boston; 3.5 hours from New York.
Kick back, relax and watch sailboat races and ships pass from the spacious deck. Also enjoy the annual Fireman's Fair (mid-August); ice-cream socials, movies every Wednesday night and bingo every Friday night.
