Why the Owner Chose Los Barriles
My family has been going to Cabo to celebrate Thanksgiving every year. One year while staying in Cabo Pulmo, we drove up the coast and discovered Los Barriles. We bought our condo while under construction a few months later. We like the location and the tranquility. We bought at the villasdecortez because it is part of the hotelpalmasdecortez, which is a respected and famous resort.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Benefits include exclusive pools while being able to share the pools and amenities of the hotel. There is a private 9 hole golf course on the property. Restaurants and grocery store are an easy walking distance. You can watch the fishing boats come in with flags and go to the pier to watch the fish being unloaded. I enjoy having a few coronas and sushi at the pool after a long day of fishing.

Wonderfully relaxing place in south Baja

Very comfortable and well equipped unit. The many extra items in the kitchen were appreciated as well as the little cooler. The murphy bed allowed extra space in the studio during the day. The living area furniture was bery comfortable. The maintenance and cleaning were exceptionally good with the complex staff being very friendly and helpful. Only drawback is the location above the outdoor bar which can get a little noisy while the bar is open during the evenings. But, there is a wonderful view of the ocean above the cafe palapa covering. We would definitely recommend this unit to our friends. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants in Las Barriles with local entertainment and reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend of the Lord of the Wind.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

It was very peaceful with very few units in the complex occupied while we were there. Many days we had two private pools or shared them with only two or three other folks. Living in your condo was a delight. We found the studio spacious and well equipped for our needs. Sunrise with coffee on the deck allowed us to see and hear the rays heading south (for breakfast?), see whales in the bay and a school of what looked like dolphins and a pair of sea lions. We enjoyed dinner downstairs and walking to dinner "in town", the local carnival parade and the generally relaxed feeling in town. Thank you for letting us rent your condo! Janet

Hey Randy, We had a great time. The room worked out perfect. We didn't have hot water on the first day, but the guys fixed it promptly (for Mex.). I wish we had known how well equipped the studio was. For example the beach towels, little cooler (used on golf course), and other amenities we could have left at home. The Wi-Fi in the lobby works great. It would be cool if it was in the room, but at least it's on the property. Solomon's Landing has great food right out the door. As usual, there are too many activities and not enough time to do them all. Thanks for the stay and the smooth transaction. We'll be in touch next time we head to Los Barriles.

Jack and I had the BEST time in LB. Your condo was just perfect for us! The weather was beautiful and we caught about 23 Dorado and 1 Yellowfin, so we brought fish back home with us. The day before we left it rained (which was kind of fun) so we sat on the balcony and played dominos all morning, then when the rain let up we took our quad and did our last minute souvenir shopping for the family and on the way back to the condo it poured on us, we were laughing so hard, it was hilarious!!! We had our driver Eduardo take us up to LaPaz for a day trip, shopped, had lunch and a few beers at several bars. Cute city but we couldn’t wait to get back home to LB!!! Solomon’s restaurant was sooo good, they would actually bring our food up to us if we didn’t feel like eating there. They were very hospitable and made our stay even more comfortable, we felt like familia…lol. THANKS so much and we can’t wait to go back again! You’ll probably hear from us before the end of the year to make reservations again (I HOPE!).
