Alebrijes is a lake view cabin perfect for couples or groups of friends who want to have a nice ,safe, clean and economic place to stay in this beautiful Lake Arenal area. Great so you will have a larger budget for fun and activities!
From here you can start by trying many of the exciting Costa Rican experiences such as world class windsurfing, boat tours, canopy tours, kayaking, lake fishing, jungle hiking trails, ATV rentals, mountain biking, kite surfing, horseback riding, waterfalls, and more. This is a great spot to start your adventure thru Costa Rica by taking your car and drive either to Arenal Volcano,famous Tabacon Hot Springs, Sky Tram, Hanging Bridges, Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, Monteverde Cloud Forest, white-water rafting or many of the Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches on the Pacific Coast , all this in just half day trips. We are located only 10 minutes from the town of Nuevo Arenal and 15 minutes from Tilarán City both Cities offering all kind of services such as Internet, Banks, Hospital, drugs stores, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.
This studio has a great view of the lake and mountains. You can relax watching exotic birds that are always around like the toucans, parrots and oropendulas.
The owners, a friendly English speaking Costa Rican family will help you before arrival with information, directions, reservations or any other question you may have. Also while you stay here email and fax are available. For your convenience we do provide catering and laundry service upon request.

Year Purchased: 2008
We are a Costa Rican Family that moved 12 years ago from San José, to this great area of the Arenal Lake. The reasons to leave San José? Well, it was too crowded, too little.
The reasons to choose Arenal Lake?…friendly people, the cleanest air, perfect weather, nature and wildlife, and the most amazing feeling of freedom and happiness.
We are into giving back to the planet, planting trees, protect the animals and using our natural resources in a reasonable way, making sure our next generations can enjoy this perfect world we have.
Why the Owner Chose Arenal
We choose this is a place because here you can experience it all, you are close to all the fun and exotic activities but away from the touristy and crowded places, you can be in touch with nature and still be close enough to a little town in case you need something from the “civilization”. Here people is good and friendly and willing to show you their way of life. This is the perfect piece of paradise that we are looking for!
