This gorgeous condo is located at the top of a mountain and is part of The Wintergreen Resort. This four-season destination resort is on 11,000 acres and is adjacent to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and 45 miles from Charlottesville. (1.5 hours from Richmond and 3 hours from DC)
The resort offers 45 holes of golf, 24 ski and snow board trails, 24 tennis courts (3 indoor), 5 swimming pools, Camp Wintergreen Child Care and Activity Programs, a 20-acre lake for fishing, swimming and boating, The Wintergreen Tennis Academy, 30 miles of hiking trails, organized nature programs, horseback riding, the Wintergarden Spa, road and mountain bikes, and great restaurants.

We enjoyed our recent stay with our two pups. Worked perfectly for us. Not "fancy" but we didn't expect - or need that. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our needs. We would go back.

Our family of 4 stayed here for a ski vacation at Wintergreen. This condo is clean, comfortable, and a great value at this resort. It had everything we need to make our stay great. The proximity to the slopes, tubing, and other resort amenities is excellent. Wintergreen is a great family mountain and well run. We even went into Charlottesville for a day ~ less than an hour's drive. The owner is very easy to work with and gives great area info to all renters. Take his recommendations for ski rentals and restaurants---you won't be disappointed!!

We had a great visit in August. Condo was so clean and comfortable. It was so quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to walk right out the door to take a walk on the golf course. We swam, checked out the Raven's Roost overlook at sunset, went to Lake Monacan took the kids to do the bungee jumping, rock climbing wall and zip line. We had a wonderful dinner at the Brewery (at the bottom of the mountain). Also got pizza at Cisino's at the bottom of the mountain in the little town.

My husband and I discovered Wintergreen and met our son from Richmond for golf. That was in June and we were back again last week. This time we rented this VRBO and were very pleased! It had everything we needed, is on the 12th fairway and the owners were great to work with. We played the 27 holes in the valley and Devils Knob. Beautiful courses and exceptional cool weather. We saw deer, great sunrise from about 1/2 mile from the condo and an incredible sunset view from hole 14 or 15 ( an easy walk from the condo). We will be back!
