This is our 2nd year staying at Beachwood Place and our 1st in this unit. We enjoyed ourselves and have no complaints. The pictures give an accurate description of the property. The beach chairs a welcomed convenience. The owners could not have been nicer to deal with. We will return.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Fabulous Condo!

We have NEVER stayed in such a fabulous condo. It exceeded all our expectations. Access to the owner's closet full of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, pool floats and more made our stay quite enjoyable. The owners were great to deal with and the condo is not only beautifully decorated but also comes with every convenience of home...and more. We will definitely return. Dale and Lisa were great to deal with and have furnished the condo as a second home instead of a rental unit. You will not be disappointed staying here. We thank them for sharing their condo with us.

My family stayed in this condo this summer the first week of June 2011. We greatly enjoyed this condo. It was extremely clean, and full of everything you would ever want in a beach condo. The Beach accessories available to you are very impressive, there wasn't one thing that we could have ever wanted to play with, lay on, lay under etc.. on the beach that wasn't in the fully stocked "Beach closet" there inside the condo. I loved the balcony and and wonderful breeze on the balcony. We loved the decorations and furniture. The sleeper sofa was actually comfortable, and loved the real quilts provided on the beds. The beach and pool was amazing and being so close to Coligny Plaza was great. We rode bikes everywhere, It was a blast. I would highly recommend this to any family or couple. Everything You Need for a Terrific Hilton Head Vacation

We have traveled to HHI may times and enjoy staying in the South Forest Beach area. This unit has it all. It is comfortable, warm and inviting, in a small building with a terrific beach-front pool and is fully stocked with everything you will need for a terrific beach vacation down to the beach chairs, sand toys and margarita glasses. Add in an ocean-front location that really can't be matched, access to the biking trails, a one minute walk to Coligny restaurants and close to the Ocean Gate entrance to Sea Pines and you have all of the ingredients for a terrific Hilton Head vacation. ***** Highly recommended!

Top ten things we enjoyed about staying at the Maulding Family condo: 10. Wi-fi! 9. Island full of great mini-golf 8. Well equipped kitchen (including new dishwasher) 7. Cable, DVD players, surround sound and 3 TVs 6. Closet full of beach accessories 5. Breakfast on the balcony every morning 4. Tasteful decor of the condo 3. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and 1 really comfy king size master bed 2. Proximity to the beach and Coligny Circle 1. The great time we had! This was our first vacation to Hilton Head Island, but certainly won't be our last!!! The condo was located in a perfect location...close to shopping, steps from the beach,gorgeous pool, and a gorgeous condo that had all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who just wants to relax, or anyone with family, and who are on the go. The condo was spotless..the owners made sure we had a list of places to visit, and also a list of their favorite restaurants for us to use as a reference. We would truly recommend this condo to everyone!!!!!

Location, location, location

This place was ideally located. It was within walking distance to stores, restaurants, music, the beautiful Coligny Beach access with fountains and rocking chairs. Many places say they are close to the beach, but at this place it really was just a short walk to the ocean. One thing that was misleading is the picture on the website of the balcony view showing 2 pools. I thought that they were our pools and it was a major reason we chose this villa. But we found out that the 2 pools in the photo are on the property next door. While we did enjoy the small pool at the villa which was nicely maintained, I think it is a misleading photo. The grounds are also beautifully landscaped. Parking was also a great plus for this location. We have been to HH twice before and seemed to drive around forever looking for a place to park just to go to the beach and then lugging everything for long walk to the beach. The small property with private parking was great and again, it was a very short walk to the beach. I thought the decor was just OK. It didn't seem to be a two year old full renovation but it was still OK. The master bath is small especially the tiny shower, but the king sized bed was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have been provided trash bags for the week, along with some beach chairs and umbrellas. We flew in from St. Louis and obviously could not bring in beach items. We had a leaky ceiling midweek from the unit above us but the management person had a plumber taking care of it within a couple of hours. We had him fix the plunger in the bathroom sink as long as he was there. It all worked out. We liked the restaurants Just Pasta, Steamers, and the bakery at Coligny Plaza. Harbortown was a bust. Not much to do there. But we went to South Beach and got a boat ride to look for dolphins much cheaper there. Lots of activity there. If location is important to you, this place is ideal.

Our family has enjoyed vacations on Hilton Head Island for the past 10 years. Your beautiful and comfortable condo has added to our experience in a wonderful way. We loved being so close to the beach and having a nice pool to relax at. The location was outstanding. We felt very comfortable and at home here because your condo seemed very well kept and decorated beautifully. Thanks for making our stay on Hilton Head Island a memorable one! We hope to return very soon.

This unit was awesome! Very clean, with a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed riding bikes, the VERY close access to the beach, and the comforts of home in this newly remodeled condo. I would definitely return to this unit and I highly recommend it to others!

What a lovely unit! We have rented condos several times recently but have never had one so beautifully decorated. All of the little extras were greatly appreciated. Thank you for the quality and variety of kitchen ware. It made our stay much more enjoyable. Ditto on the chairs, umbrella and "objects de beach." We had a wonderful stay. Thanks again.
