What a wonderful spot in busy Myrtle Beach and what a fabulous home Barb and Ken have. Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and even my wife's parents joined us for the week and had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning to the Island Vista and Barb and Ken's wonderful home next year!

Our host Barbara and Ken were fantastic. Exceptional is the only word for them. The condo is beautiful and very clean. The views are perfect. It can get quite crowded at the pools with the usual "chair savers" but Barbara & Ken have a cabana rented at the beach for our use only and that was the best. We would not hesitate in any way in staying their again.

We spent two weeks at this beautiful condo and plan to return next year. The area is beautiful, the condo is outstanding and being directly on the beach is such a plus! What we enjoyed was all the details within the condo - you have everything that you could possibly need from beach towels to special books. Being a decorator, the condo is furnished with great detail and well coordinated comfortable furniture. With three bedrooms and baths, plenty of room for guests. RJ loved that we could attend live shows along with top restaurants in the area. The owners want you to have a wonderful vacation and are available to make suggestions as to where to eat and what you might enjoy in the area. Having traveled all over to many beach properties, we would recommend this property far above the others.

We come to MB because we love the ocean and to get away from the SNOW. We love the Golden Mile area and this was our first time at Island Vista. The property is amazing. Everything you could ever want. Condo has everything you will ever need and the view... When you walk in you can see the ocean. When you are in the kitchen, living room, dining room, master bedroom - you can see the ocean. Large oceanfront balcony to see and hear the ocean.Watch the dolphins swim by. The master bedroom has a walkout to the balcony and if you leave the walkout door open a little at night you can fall asleep and wake up to the soothing sounds of the sea. Barb is amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay in MB extra special. Advised us of great places to eat, fun things to do and included us in many of her adventures. If you need ANYTHING in MB just call Barb. We have already booked to return next year and hopefully every year following that. It's snowing again and it's April .... booo... Great Vacation!!

We had an awesome time staying at this condo!! There were two families (4 adults and 5 kids)- had plenty of room (and very clean!)! Owner EXTREMELY helpful- making sure we were comfortable and gave great tips for eating, entertainment, and shopping!! This condo is in a GREAT location- the beach was never too crowded! (you could look left out the balcony and see that the beach at North Myrtle Beach was way more active..). The restaurant at the hotel/condo was excellent. The kids loved the beach, pool, and indoor pool area (lazy river). My 22 month old loved the indoor pool with beach entry. Loved the washer and dryer- came back home with NO laundry!! Everything you need is close by. The kids loved Ripley's Aquarium. Highly recommend this to friends, family, and strangers!!

Girls Week Get Away

This was my third time at your condo and it was the best time ever. The condo was as beautiful as ever specially with the new wallpaper. The weather was great so it was the first time I really able to enjoy the outdoor pool which I loved. And what can I say about the restaurants you has us go to, I gain 10 pounds and it was well worth it. If anyone is thinking about staying at Myrtle Beach this is the condo to do it in, you will not regret it. You don't know how much I enjoyed this vacation at the best place ever. Thanks again!!

March is Beautiful!

We usually visit the beach in August or September, but this year we decided to take a beach vacation in March. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome weather in Myrtle Beach this time of the year. Although the ocean is a chilling 50 degrees, the pools are warm and inviting. We spent the cooler days at the indoor pools or at the local attractions and the last 3 days of our trip by the outside pools since the temps were in the 70s! They even had the Tiki Hut open for lunches and drinks. The place seemed half empty and felt as if we had a private pool at times. It was perfect to get up in the morning to go on our runs/walks on the beach. It was also a great time of year to sleep with the master bedroom door open a bit to sleep to the calming sounds of the surf. It was so relaxing! We all came back to a cold Ohio with happy faces and great tans! Your condo is wonderful and contains everything we need. Thanks so much for letting us use your home!! :)

Ok, we live in Florida, why on earth would we go to Myrtle Beach. Because it was wonderful! Floriday is too hot in the summer!!! Barb & Ken are two of the nicest people to rent from. They were so accomodating. Yes, we paid a little more than we planned on paying, but I'm doing it again next year. Everything they do and say is right on the money. There condo is so incredible and so comfortable. And by the way, the little extras Barb sends are amazing!!! We actually looked at a few other condos in the same building while we were there that rented for a little less, thinking, next year, we'd still come back but save a little money. NOPE - My wife would kill me. Barb isn't kidding when she says they have everything we need for our vacation. Her home is equiped and better furnished than any thing else we looked at and 10 times CLEANER!!! Barb & Ken, thank you, thank you thank you. We'll see you in a few months! This was our first time renting a condo in this manner and while we are still in the place I thought it most fitting to say a few words, As you walk into Barb and Ken's 3 bedroom condo at the Island Vista you enter a place full of luxury, this truly is a small taste of paradise, It is beautifully decorated and immacuately clean. Each bedroom has its own flare. Sit on the balcony and enjoy your lunch and the view, spectacular, Barb and Ken have helped to make this vacation one of the most memorable ones my wife and I have ever had. We are still here enjoying the luxury and it will be most difficult to leave it on March 20 2010.thank you Barb and Ken for this wonderful experience, Peter and Barb Duffy

We have visited Myrtle Beach many times and stayed all around. This was by far the best experience. Barb has spent a lot of time personalizing her home to make it a wonderful experience. The location is the best we have found. Even during our communication, it wasn't long before you felt like family. We look foward to next time.

As the general manager of a four-star hotel I have a deep appreciation for top-level accomodations and services. Barb & Ken provide this in spades, with a spectacular view of the ocean to boot. What a great vacation, filled with all of the amenities that allow for relaxation and fun. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a seaside getaway.

Barb & Ken - Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful condo - twice now! We absolutely love it there. The pools are perfect for our kids and the beach is wonderful. This was our third summer in M.B. And like the Goldilocks story, this condo was "just right"! Beautiful, reasonable, and not only is the Island Vista a great resort but the staff goes the extra mile. We left the lights on in our van overnight. When I inquired at the front desk about a reasonable mechanic who could give us a jump, they sent their own maintenance men up with a portable charger - no charge and with a smile to boot. Hope we can swing two weeks next year! J & R

Barb, we loved the week we spent recently at your Island Vista condo! The condo is exactly the way it is described on VRBO: very clean and comfortable, close to restaurants, shopping and golf. Golf is very important to our guys! You have provided everything needed for the perfect vacation. The view from the balcony is awesome! I watched the life guards set up the umbrellas every morning while drinking my coffee on the balcony. The live acoustic guitar every afternoon by the pool was very relaxing. We had great meals at The Sea Captain's House, Chuck's Steak House, and The Flamingo Seafood Grill, as well as breakfast at The Southern Pancake House. (I told the owner hello for you!) We spent a week here about a month ago and could not ask for a better place to stay. There were six of us and it was so nice to have all the room that this unit has, including the balcony which has plenty of room in itself. I spent every morning out there with a cup of coffee watching the sun come up before a day at the beach. It just doesn't get any better than that!

What an incredible time we had. The condo was so very nice, extremely clean and all the comforts of home. We couldn't ask for more. The price was so much better and the fact that we didn't have to pay the 18% management tax, that other hotels and condos charge, well, we saved more than $600 on our total stay! The Canadian dollar went a bit farther with Barb & Ken's condo.... We will never rent from anyone else again. I'm joining the Kaylor Condo Beach Family forever! Thanks again Barb & Ken, you made our family vacation a memory we will cherish forever. Make our reservation now for next year please. We will be back!

I never thought I'd go to Myrtle Beach in "JANUARY". My friend talked me into it. WOW!!! IT WAS WONDERFUL. Much warmer than PA. Not crowded, great buys at the stores, 1/2 price meals at almost all restaurants and your condo was like the 'cream of the crop'. You thought of everything! Nothing was more relaxing than waking up in that big ole bed looking out at the ocean. Your decorations were beautiful and the condo was so clean! Kudos to your cleaning staff and to you for your decorating talent and thoughtful little extras! We will be back!

Barbara and Ken, You have a beautiful condo at Island Vista. We have stayed at the resort many times in the past but your condo offers so much more than the ordinary 3 bedroom condos. It is beautifully decorated and is equipped with anything anyone could possibly need. We will be calling for another stay in 2009. Glad I found you VRBO.

Barb, The condo was just beautiful. You and Ken have gone the extra step to make the condo very comfortable. It was like staying in a luxury hotel. In the morning I could just lay in bed and watch the sun rise. We were pool side every day and didn't want to leave. It was so comfortable and relaxing we hated to go home. Just a great place to get away. I would recommand it highly to everyone. I can't begin to Thank You for such a great week.

We had a wonderful stay! This condo is just terrific; plenty of room, nicely furnished, and just beautiful. Barb has added her touches to the condo that make you feel right at home here! There is a great indoor water play area for the kids....BIG kiddie pool too, indoor lazy river, and other pools inside as well as outside. The tiki bar outside had tasty snacks and frozen goodies for the kids. The indoor resturant is nice to grab breakfast or for a relaxing dinner that is ocean front with some great food. Thanks for a wonderful stay...we will be back!

I highly recommend this stay at Myrtle Beach. The condo was clean and just beautiful. The ocean view was perfect. Barb does a great job with recommending restaurants to check out and let me tell you she was right on with Sticky Fingers and Cheesburger Paradise. We loved every minute of our stay. The pool was lovely and very clean. I could go on and on about this place. Thanks Kaylor's for a beautiful and memorable vacation.

RJ and I had recently had the opportunity to stay at your lovely condo and have told all our friends what a great value you offer. Your furnishings are so attractive and with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths who could ask for more. We enjoyed hearing the waves from the master suite as well as spending time at the pools. The night life was exciting - we saw Legends and a fabulous Christmas show. We also liked the residential area where your condo is located -easy to locate and away from the crazies. Susan & R.J.

We travelled with my parents, sister & 5 yr old nephew & stayed for 7 nights. The location is perfect - close to everything, but surrounded by residential beach homes, which gives you an uncrowded beach. The condo is so comfortable, very beautifully decorated, and up-to-date. We enjoyed the incredible view on the balcony every morning & evening. Beds were comfortable (we have some bad backs) & 3 bathrooms came in handy. Te big dining room table was perfect for family meals. The brochure mentions 3 swimming pools, but the indoor facilities have several different pools perfect for young children or a rainy day. Wading pools, a lap pool, another hot tub - it was great. The outdoor pools are large & well designed. The ocean is only steps way & viewable from every nook. Finally, the owners went above & beyond to provide tips for local entertainment & dining. The condo was in tip top shape & very clean. We all had a wonderful time & hope to stay here again many more times. I highly recommend to anyone!

We had so much fun, the place is beautiful, the kids enjoyed it as much as we did. The indoor lazy river and the pools are awesome. The kids activities gave us a break while the kids had fun making crafts, and the kids crafts were FREE!!!!!!

Our two daughters and their families took my wife and I to this wonderful resort this past September. I would highly recommend any family, especially those with small children, to experience what we did. I spent so many wonderful hours with my little five year old grandson playing in the warm surf and sand. Also, the "Lazy River," located inside the condo is a great place for kids, even in bad weather. It is enclosed and allows for swimming the year around. Those wonderful ten days spoiled me and I want to go back again..
