T Bar M is a wonderful retreat area for all ages and activity levels. Just outside the front door are tennis courts for you and your friends to enjoy that friendly game of tennis! If you prefer, enjoy the patio and just watch the action. The pool is just a few steps away from the back door and features a kiddy pool plus the large pool. Four pool floats are located in our condo for use at the pool.
Historical Gruene, Texas is a five minute drive away where you may enjoy the music and dancing at Gruene Hall. In addition, the top destination point in Texas is the original Schlitterbahn! This water park is just a 10 minute drive away and is a great way to spend the day!
Naturally, floating the Guadelupe or the Comal Rivers is a must for all ages! Choose an inner tube or a raft for a delightful day on the water. Wineries abound in the Hill Country. Just the way to see up close how the vineyard operates.
If golf is your choice: there are 3 to 4 golf courses in the area from which to choose. We are centrally located about 60 miles south of Austin, TX and about 17 miles north of San Antonio.

Owner Description
We have really enjoyed our condo in the Texas Hill Country. We also enjoy sharing with others, in the hopes that they, too, will become Hill Country fans! I have been all over the world, but this area is just a little piece of heaven. You will come once and never want to leave.
Why the Owner Chose New Braunfels
Our family has enjoyed the Texas Hill Country for the past twenty-five years. The wildlife can be seen up close and personal. Last spring there was a little fawn under one of the bushes just outside our condo. I guess I had never seen a fawn in the wild placed where the mother felt it would be safe. We enjoy riding our bicycles around the area. There is not much traffic through the complex and this is so enjoyable to me. Morning walks are so wonderful: the area offers many unique sights....but be careful of walking in the evening, because there is a skunk who also enjoys evening walks!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
I love to play tennis, so having two tennis courts just outside my front door is such a blessing! I like to play with the grandkids: we have such fun just knocking that yellow ball around. I stand at the net and feed the balls over: first a back-hand, then a fore-hand. Just don't forget the sunscreen. And after tennis, we jump into the wonderful pool just steps from the back door. And the wood swing just outside the kitchen window is a delight. We sit, sip our bottled water, and chill out. Life could not get any better!

We had 8 people in this condo and we were very comfortable and not crowded at all. The condo was very clean and luxurious. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. Lots of activities for the kids including tennis, pool areas, basketball and wildlife. We couldn't believe how many deer we actually saw while staying at this condo. It was so relaxing too!! Thanks for an enjoyable stay!! : )
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Spacious condo, nicely furnished overlooking tennis courts. Nice grounds with plenty of wildlife. I would stay again. I would recommend.

We stayed at the T Bar M Retreat in March 2008. We had a family of 4 plus 2 grandparents and were very comfortable in the accomodations. The beds were very comfortable with lovely sheets. The unit was full of amenities, lots of books and videos to pass the later hours. The tennis courts right outside the door were wonderful, as were the playground and the ample deer sightings! I would and already have recommended to friends!
