We enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse! The weather was beautiful and the condo was very nice...well equipped and beautifully decorated! Location was great and easy access to the beach made our trip enjoyable!

We loved this condo at Lighthouse. The king bed in the master bedroom was large and comfy, and my daughter and her friend loved the bunk room with the TV and DVD player. The decor of the condo is beautiful. This is also the most comfortable condo we have ever stayed in. The chairs that rocked on the balcony were wonderful, we spent a lot of time out there reading, watching dolphins, just enjoying the great view. I was worried about staying at such a large condo complex, but there are 4 elevators and they move pretty fast, and with 2 large beachfront pools there was plenty of pool for everyone. The kids loved the 2 beachfront pools!

This condo was perfect for our family of 5! The inside is exactly like the pictures! Amazing view, nice furnishings, comfortable master bed and very well maintained! The owner is wonderful....so easy to work with! I would highly recommend this condo to my family and friends!

My husband, daughter and grandson comes to the Lighthouse every fall break. This condo was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was everything the photos showed. Jo was so kind and helpful to work with. The view from the balcony was spectular. My 8 year old grandson Tres loved the bunkbeds. This unit has everything you need. It even had beach toys! I was satisfied with everything. We always have our favorite restaurants : Lamberts, Ryans, Mello Mushroom Pizza, Docs for the crablegs and Hazels for breakfast. I hope this same unit is available next year on Fall Break.

My mom and my friend and I spent four days here. This is a great place to stay. The condo is very nice and clean. It's decorated very nicely, none of that cheesy beach furniture that I normally find in beach condos. This was actually comfortable furniture! The beds had nice soft sheets and were very comfortable. The condo is right on the beach which is great b/c you don't have to walk very far with all your stuff. The balcony overlooks the pool and has a nice view of the beach. It's great b/c the pools are just a quick ride down the elevator. Owner is super nice and very quick to respond to emails. When you rent a condo from the internet and only have pictures to look at, you often wonder if you are getting what you think you signed up for. Don't worry at all about renting this place! It's great, you will love it!

Famiy Vacation

We stayed at the same place in panamacity beach for 15yrs until the last 5 yrs when we started going to Gulf Shores. We have tried different rental properties which included the Lighthouse but never haved found the condo unit that we would ask for again, until this year. We all like the Lighthouse but have not been WOWED by the units we have stayed in. My entire family enjoyed this unit and we know this will be the first place we will check. Everything was wonderful!! The decor, Beds were the most comfortable we have found, cooking utensils were plentiful. There is not one thing negative on this unit. The owner was the nicest person to deal with and made you feel like you were dealing with a family member. Our entire family decided we have finally found the condo that we want for our beach vacations!! Thanks Jo and we will be in touch soon. My goal when My Husband retires is to spend a entire month at the beach one summer. Maybe soon!!

Everything about this condo was excellent. We rented this property for spring break 2010. My daughter will be going to college next year and my son is a freshman in high school. We all had a great time; this place felt more like a resort than a condo. We (*our entire family) recommend this condo to everyone and anyone that wants to feel comfortable and have an amazing stay; there is nothing like this. We will rent this condo again if we ever visit Gulf Shores again. The owner (Jo) is very accommodating and is easy to work with. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call her before your trip as she is friendly and wants to make sure your stay is pleasant.

MY FAMILY SPENT SPRING BREAK 2010 IN THIS BEAUTIFUL CONDO. THE CONDO HAD ALL THE NECESSITIES NEEDED FOR A WONDERFUL RELAXING WEEK AWAY FROM HOME. THE OWNERS WERE WONDERFUL TO RENT FROM. Thank you for allowing my Family to stay in your Beautiful Condo! My Family has vacationed in other condo's in the surrounding areas including Florida and have NEVER had the GREAT accommadations we had at yours and The Lighthouse! From the balcony each day we would watch 10 to 12 dolphins swim and play in the water. Needless to say we spent alot of time on the balcony, from eating meals, watching the dolphins, looking at the amazing view and just soaking in the beautiful surroundings! The condo was well equipped with everything we needed and more! We will no longer search for the perfect vacation destination...we found it! Thank you Jo!

We had an enjoyable stay in Gulf Shores. I would recommend this condo to anyone. The location is easy to find. Parking at the lighthouse is great. There are bunches of elevators and carts to bring up your luggage. The condo was clean. We have been in a couple that were not. The layout of the condo is nice too. There is a laundry room when you walk. I like the fact that the laundry room is right by the front door. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook or bake with. The refrigerator is spacious.The cabinets are beautiful as well as their silverware. The living room is comfortable. There is this awesome little chair that spins. The furniture in the master bedroom is nice. The master bathroom has a "spa" feeling to it. The jacuzzi tube was spacious. The pools were nice. We have three children under four years old. There was one pool that the boys could walk in for half of the length of the pool. The walk to the beach was just right there after the pools. The experience was worth our time. Thank you

We had a terrific spring break at The Lighthouse. The condominium felt like home. It was well appointed, comfortable and relaxing. The beach was uncrowded during a very busy week. We would recommend this building AND this unit to someone traveling 300 miles or 30 for a vacation. Thank you...and, we'll see you next time!

We had a great time on this trip, and really enjoyed our time at the condo. It was very cozy. We felt very at home for the week. We stayed in this condo the first week of April 2008. It is a lovely place, the pools are gorgeous. It is a short walk to the gulf compared to other places we've stayed. The owners were very helpful and great to work with.
