Our family of 6 stayed for a week at the villa. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The house is arcitecturally and artistically amazing. It is in the best location in Sayulita (the south side) with a great view, and only a 5-10 min walk to beach and town. We had pepe and kitty cook for us each night - incredibly good and affordable. We loved Sayulita and will definitely be coming back.

Amy L. California, United States Jul, 2011 Your house has the most beautiful view in Sayulita, we think. My favorite spot was the outdoor shower on the penthouse level, nothing like bathing in the jungle with the birds, iguanas and geckos, with an amazing ocean view from the panoramic window in the bathroom. Tom was very knowledgeable and offered helpful hints to navigate around town. He was kind and welcoming. The highlight of our stay was Pepe's delicious home-cooked meal. It's a must have when visiting Villa Pcaso. Whatever you need, Pepe is right there to assist you. Thanks for an awesome time guys! We needed the relaxation and tranquility your home offered.

Anisha , United States Jun, 2011 We really enjoyed Villa PCaso. It's a great house with wonderful rooms and views. The kids loved the pool and we loved the 'upstairs bar' where we'd have late afternoon drinks every day. Kitty and Pepe took great care of us. Pepe is a fantastic chef!

I stayed here with three other couples and had a fantastic stay. The charm and attention to detail throughout the Villa was amazing. Tom, the owner, was excellent and couldn’t be more helpful both prior to and during our stay. The unexpected bonus was Pepe who will cook you delicious meals and serve up unbelievable margies… Although there are a few great restaurants in town (check out Chilli Rellenos) you can’t beat being waited over to perfection on your private patio and overlooking the Pacific. My only complaint is there is not a ton of interior lounging. It’s certainly adequate just not overflowing, but then again while in Mexico who wants to lounge around inside anyway.

Rachael W. Colorado, United States Feb, 2011 We had the best time at Villa Picasso! Pepe was very helpful in answering questions we had and helping us with our plans. He made a fantastic shrimp dinner for us to celebrate a friend's birthday and was very gracious and nice. We miss him and the the house already! It was truly paradise.

Megan Y. Colorado, United States Feb, 2011 Our group recently had a fantastic stay at Villa PCaso. The house was bigger and more beautiful than I expected and everyone was quite pleased! I did quite a bit of research on the various rental houses in Sayulita before we chose Villa PCaso, and after having been there I can definitely say that the pictures and descriptions of your house matched reality a lot closer than some of the other houses I saw in person. The house has been beautifully remodled and is very nicely maintained. One of the best parts of staying in the house was having Pepe around - he is fantastic!! He made his famous guacomole and margaritas for us, as well as cooked us some delicious shrimp fajitas. He's an outstanding chef! He also found us a great deal on a day of fishing, and even came and got us on his day off and brought us to the fishing boats. Also, when the house ran out of propane, he immediately called the gas guys to come bring a new tank. He then offered to go bring us the tank from his own house because he wasn't sure how long it would take them to bring us a new tank of propane. I can't say enough how great he was and how much better our trip was because of him. I will be recommending a trip to Sayulita and a stay at the Villa PCaso to all of my friends and we hope to be back soon!

Phoebe S. Oregon, United States Jan, 2011 The house was perfect for our large group. The separate spaces were very private even with no curtains. The outdoor shower had an incredible view of the ocean. Posh house, but still funky. Lovely!

Tiffany M. Oregon, United States Dec, 2010 We had a wonderful stay! The 3 families had plenty of room, the beds and pillows were comfy, the "outdoor" showers were refreshing. Location is ideal and the walk up the hill was good exercise for all of us. We already miss the beautiful ocean/mountain view. We would definitely stay again with a big group.

We recently had our wedding in Sayulita and stayed at Villa Pcaso or "Toms house" as it's affectionately known throughout the town. We had seen the pictures online and were quite impressed, but nothing we had read could prepare us for this amazing house. It is an architecural wonder that was clearly built to allow the guest to enjoy the breathtaking views of Sayulita as well as the tropical gardens that surround the property. Throughout the house we were continually impressed by the thoughtful design; every detail has been carefuly considered to surround you in luxury and comfort. The best part of the house however is definitely the people. From the moment you arrive, Tom, Pepe and Maribel take care of you like family. Pepe and Maribel work like magic in the background, unobtrusively cleaning up after the guests and taking care of the grounds. For only the cost of food and tip, Pepe can make you the most amazing meals. We are from Manhattan and the quality of Pepe's food is on par with any NYC restaurant. We were SO impressed with his cooking that we asked him to make the food for a welcome party we had for 40 people as a pre-wedding event. He said "no problem" then recruited some of his family members and friends who worked all day cooking up a feast for us then stayed all night making drinks for our guests. And I'll say the only thing better than Pepe's guacamole or chicken mole is his margaritas! If you want a truly magical experience, then I highly recommend Villa Pcaso in Sayulita.

Granted our review is long overdue, it should not take away from the fact that we had a truly special time during our stay. We stayed at Villa Pcaso (Tom's house) during New Years 09/10 which also happened to be my birthday. This is an amazing house with panoramic views of Sayulita and the bay (we were lucky enough to whale watch from the patio) and has beautiful tropical gardens that surround the property. It is located up on a hill a short walk from town away from the dust and noise. Tom is a gracious host and as "unofficial mayor" of Sayulita has a wealth of knowledge of all things local. Would definitely recommend to anyone and hope to be back soon.

FROM THE PAPAS FAMILY to VillaPCaso, "We had the perfect spring break at PCaso with our high school senior and 3 of her friends. The house is beautifully laid out for fun and relaxation. Each room is delightful and has magnificent views. The pool and porches are heaven. It can be hard to drag yourself to the great beaches and restaurants. A wonderful time was had by all and without parental nail-biting over Girls Gone Wild scenarios. We will be back!"

Villa PCaso is everything you could want for great vacation stay. The pictures on the website are great, but it is even more beautiful than they portray. The pool is great, the views are outstanding and the house is a one of a kind. A couple of things not on the website: There is a professional margarita machine, so get mix and tequila. Every room has an outdoor shower. The maid and gardner will make breakfast for you if you pay them for the groceries and tip at the end of your stay. The ingredients are fresh and the food is outstanding. If you have questions, you can email me. I would recommend this house, and I can tell you I have stayed at my last mega resort. Renting a house is so much more fun.

We enjoyed the best possible spring break with our high school senior and 3 of her friends. Our college daughter was insanely jealous not to be able to join us. And with good cause: the house is gorgeous, all rooms delightful, the location perfect for views and town and access to beaches. This is not Girls Gone Wild but a fun and safe locale for adults and teens. We'll be back!

Villa Pcaso is a beautiful house on a small hill above the town of Sayulita, with spectacular views of the ocean and the surrounding jungle. There are many pieces of original art decorating the walls and spaces, and the refreshing swimming pool is in the form of a head. A group of 5 friends stayed there in August, which I guess is not the best month because of the afternoon storms and the somewhat dirty sea because of the run-off from the rain, but you always have the lovely house and pool to relax in and watch the spectacular electrical storms from the terrace. There are numerous interesting restaurants a short stroll away. Highly recommended.

We're a family of 4 that stayed at Picasso for a week. Villa Pacaso is an absolutely wonderful place to stay, we're planning to go back again and again and we've been recommending it to our friends. The house is built for a fun, with tons of outdoor view space and a nice lap pool. Artwork is everywhere you look! The pictures of the house only give a hint at what you'll experience when you get there. Location is excellent, in a quieter part of town and less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Tom is a great host who cares about his guests, and the house staff was terrific. I'd highly recommend the house to anyone, although there are some steep stairs to negotiate and toddlers would need to be carefully watched. Wonderful place, we'll be back!
