The Marshall Street house is in the center of historic Federal Hill. This circa 1900 home has been continually modernized over the years and yet has retained its historic charm. It is also just steps to the Cross Street Market.
The first floor contains the living area and kitchen, as well as a half bath. The kitchen contains all modern amenities and is fully stocked with dishes, silverware and other cooking necessities for your comfortable stay. The living area has a futon for those extras guests.
Up the open staircase is the master suite with high vaulted ceilings and exposed brick. There is a nicely appointed king size bed. There is also a full bath on this level. The view of Ravens Stadium from the back window reminds you how close you are to all of the excitement Baltimore has to offer.
Back down the open stairs two levels takes you to the garden level bedroom. Light from the small window in the front and glass door to the rear keep this level bright and airy. This bedroom contains two twin sized beds. There is also a small laundry room to the rear with a full size washer and dryer for those longer stays.
Just a few steps out back is the patio area which contains a bistro set as well as provides green surroundings during the summer months.
Federal Hill is registered on the National Register of Historic Places. It is an extremely popular neighborhood in Baltimore due not just to its rich history and exciting pubs and restaurants. It also has excellent proximity to everything that is Baltimore, from all of the action of the Inner Harbor (water taxi, ESPN zone, National Aquarium), to the nearby Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium. Federal Hill and this home's location in Federal Hill will put you in the middle of all of the action.
