Newly built 3 bedroom cape located 20 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. This 1800 sq foot home sleeps 6 comfortably. The home sits on a privately owned lot which is meticulously maintained. The gardens are beautiful, with a lush green lawn surrounding the home.
The 1st floor includes a full bath, large bedroom w/queen bed. The fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area are situated in an open floor plan. A patio is located just off the kitchen, providing an out side eating area with a gas grill. The perfect place to end the day relaxing and barbecuing. The 2nd floor contains a full bath, large guest room and master bedroom with walk-in closet. All bedrooms have wall to wall carpeting, the remainder of the home has ceramic tile floors with radiant heat. The nearest airport is Bangor International Airport, 30 miles.
The nearest major town is Ellsworth, less then a 10 minute drive. This home is perfectly situated for the vacationer who wants to see it all. It is 20-30 minutes from Bangor, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Blue Hill,Bucksport, and Milbridge. Close to all the activities, but "not on top of them." We are a working class couple, our children grown up and own their own.
Why the Owner Chose Hancock
The house was actually built to sell but we decided that we would rent it seasonally instead due to the condition of the real estate market.

The house is very clean and organized. We have try to equip it as if you are leaving one home to come to another. All that is needed is your personal belongings to enjoy a relaxing vacation. BBQ on the back patio is the perfect end to your day of sight seeing and exploring.
