This is a very original apartment on 2 floors. The access is through a nice garden furnished with table and chairs under the typical roman "umbrella". Enter and going up and down stairs, there is a living room with double sofa bed and comfortable single sofa bed (width 120 cm) and satellite TV, kitchen fully equipped (washing machine, dish washer, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee set). Double bedroom with TV, loft with single bedroom, bathroom with tub-shower. Air conditioned in double bedroom spreading in all the house.

Near the house the ancient and cheap market Trionfale, every morning, where you can buy fresh food and many more things for a cheap price. Then you can walk to discover Rome, or take a bus or tube and in a few minutes you are in Campo de Fiori, Piazza di Spagna, Colosseum.

The area has any service, you will be in the centre of Rome staying in a garden as if you were out of the town!

100 m from station Cipro of tube line A (in 12 minutes you are in Spanish Steps)
7 minutes walking from Vatican Museums/8 minutes walking from St. Peter
50 m from bus 913 (going to Via del Corso, shopping area)
100 m from shops and supermarkets, cinema, restaurant, bar, internet point.

From Ciampino airport: bus until Anagnina tube A station, tube A until Cipro, 100 mt from the house.
From Fiumicino airport: train until Termini railway station, tube A until Cipro, 100 mt from the house

    By mike dicesaro (Maine in the summer,Florida in the winter) Wife and I spent 32 days here and it was perfect. 20 steps to the bus, 1 block to the Metro, 2 blocks to the largest outdoor food market. Very safe neighborhood. Had grown children visit and never ran out of hot water. Kitchen is great. Clothes washer a plus. Can't say enough good things about the apartment and Mary (very good English) and very nice and very helpful. We wanted to "live" in Roma away from "English" as in Florence and this was the place. We even took a few days off and did nothing....was great.

  • The place was great. It has a private entrance and the patio was a nice touch, too. The apartment was about two blocks from an outdoor market place, fresh fruits, veg, meat, fish, you name it, daily except on Sunday from 7 to 2. There was a grocery store about 1 1/2 blocks, too. It was walking distance to the Vatican, not a short one, but okay. The Metro was 1 1/2 blocks in the other direction so it was very convienient to travel ot other areas of Rome. Mary was very accessible if we needed any assitance and gave us directions to the items mentioned above. I highly recommend her place.

  • We stayed here in May 2008 and it was very nice. We enjoyed a short walk to the Metro. We used the kitchen for breakfast almost everyday and loved to eat on the lovely outside area. We would absolutely stay here again!!

  • We recently had a very enjoyable stay in Mary's apartment. We enjoyed the very nicely equipped kitchen and the goodies she left for us(and we appreciated the hairdryers too). The apartment was very convenient to the subway and the Vatican. Mary was also very helpful in getting us a driver to get us to the airport. The whole family liked the roominess of the apartment, and we would definitely like to do it again.
