Why the Owner Chose Sandusky
My family bought the "Glass House" on Cedar Point because it was close to Columbus, Ohio (2 hours drive) and easily reachable for all of our friends from Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, and Michigan. I have worked at Cedar Point, raced sailboats, owned and operated power boats since I was 14 years old and still love the lake and beach walks/runs along the shore.
The Unique Benefits at this Home
The "Glass House" is unique! Lake Erie is a panoramic view from the 2nd floor in the front while Sandusky Bay is spread out in the rear. Both front and back beaches are unique to this house on Cedar Point with Large Glass Windows in front and rear. The Cedar Point Amusement Park is less than a mile to the West and the Lighthouse is visible at night along with the Park lights. Three Water parks are in Sandusky just minutes away from the house. The Great Lakes Maritime Museum is in Vermillion with a glorious history of the Great Lakes. A 5 star restaurant_Ches Francois_ is also located in Vermillion for exceptional dining.

Owner's Map of Sandusky
The "Glass House" was purchased by my family in 1960. It has been continuously upgraded for almost 50 years. It retains all of Frank Lloyd Wright's designs and interior decorations. I have been enjoying Lake Erie, boating, the beach, and the people on Cedar Point for almost 50 years. The Glass House is the most important place for me, my children, and grandchildren with great memories. We have all grown up on the Lake and have hundreds of stories about the house and our experiences on the Lake.
