Windows and French doors abound in this impeccable air-conditioned 3300 plus square foot contemporary. Located one and a half miles from the center of Edgartown and four miles from South Beach, this wonderfully furnished house is the perfect getaway for summer fun. Private lot is on an acre and a half of land close to the bike path.
First floor has huge amounts of living space. Tastefully furnished with comfortable over-sized couches and sisal rugs. Owner has lived in South America so there are many interesting artifacts from indigenous artisans. Beautiful Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout the entire house. Soaring 28 foot ceilings in the great room with balcony above living room creates incredible openness for superb entertaining. French doors reach out to a wrap around porch that overlooks the expansive lawn for outdoor fun. Private outdoor shower is available for after swim. Beautiful outside plantings surround the porch.
First floor features two bedrooms and one full bath with beautiful tiles. Dining room has Mexican table that seats ten. Dining room opens up to sunny screened in porch which is a favorite with everyone. Modern kitchen has built-in charming sofa to share conversation with the cook and large butcher block center to help the cook! Second floor has two bedrooms (one is the master with balcony) and two full baths. Laundry room with tiled floors and is located on second floor.

The Unique Benefits at this House
There are so many beautiful surroundings to the property. Behind the house, there are acres of conservation land so it is a perfect place to take a walk. In the morning you can walk to Morning Glory Farm where you can purchase great coffee and a muffin. On the way back from South Beach you can stop in and get some local produce. The fish store is 1 mile away and the village of Edgartown is 1.2 miles. Often in the morning you may see deer grazing close to the house or some wild turkeys. The small private road where Sandy Feet is located has very little traffic and there is quiet in the surroundings. Because I am an artist, I like to have interesting things in my house, all the while keeping a very fresh clean and beachy feel to the house.
This wonderful farm is a favorite with guests. Within walking distance, you can get your morning coffee and a yummy muffin and shop for local produce.
The bike path leads to many places on the island. You can head west to up-island and visit Aquinnah or east towards the village of Edgartown.
