Private beachfront condo professionally managed by local property manager. New,contemporary Mexican style decoration, 4th floor,on the beach, a fabulous view from our private balcony to Banderas Bay and the beautiful Marietas Islands. Terrific surfing with many breaks nearby. Enjoy walking on the beach or just take a nap by the infinity pool, the perfect getaway from a busy lifestyle.
We are 10 min walk from the restaurant area where you can find wonderful Mexican homemade cooking, seafood, cold beer and a lot of simple but great food. Delicious take-in food available from Naef Cuisine, and fresh bread available at a nearby Swiss-run bakery. The local harbor is convenient for taking a panga for a day on the water or for some world-class fishing, diving, or whale watching. Surfing is good either directly in front of the condo or a bit south along the beach (there are several surf shops in town if you need to buy or rent equipment). Away from the noise and bustle of Puerto Vallarta, our condo is still only a short cab or bus ride away, as is the lovely beach resort of Sayulita.

Map & Owner's Profile
Punta Mita Absolute Beachfront Luxury, Spacious Condo, 3BR/3BA
Year Purchased: 2006
Why the Owner Chose Emiliano Zapata
We chose Punta Mita because it is just the right size: just big enough to have all the amenities (restaurants, shopping, etc.) within walking distance, yet small enough to avoid the crowds and noise of a larger resort. We love the fishing village next door - it's the real deal. And our children love the surfing (so many spots close by, including the beach we face).
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I like the convenience of walking over to our 80' swimming pool to get in a few laps in the morning (I'm usually the only one in the pool), followed by a soak in the hot tub. Because we are located off the main highway from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, it is nice to be able to grab a cab at the airport, stop off at the Mexican equivalent of Costco to stock up on food, and get delivered to our door. We also love the local restaurants, especially the seafood dishes.
Owner's Map of Emiliano Zapata
I have been in love with sailing and the sea all my life. In 1999 my husband, two children and I embarked on a 5 year sailing voyage throughout the South Pacific. Returning to life on land was difficult, but finding our condo in Punta Mita has turned out to be the perfect antidote. We love the convenience of flying in from California, arriving at our beautiful beachfront condo, knowing that we can be as lazy or active as we like. I know you will enjoy it as much as we do.

This is not a tradicional rent condo. The generosity of their owners make holydays a very great experience. We foud coffee, spices and pure water in the kitchen. The ocean direct view from the deck until the Marieta Islands and the front shore of Bahia de Banderas is splendid. The administrators make really efforts to keep you happy. Enough towels, and blankets. We would like to go back. We spent 7 days, before and after New Year there. Swimming pool is clean and jacuzzi in wonderful temperature. -Guadalupe, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

We stayed here for 10 days over Christmas and loved it! The condo is big, beautifully appointed and the ocean views and sound of the surf permeate every moment. We enjoyed all day sunshine from the deck... sunrise to sunset! Best of all is the condo's location near a charming and authentic Mexican fishing village with all the services, restaurants and convenience within walking distance. Much more fun and interesting than the Four Seasons! We bought fresh Mexican coffee at the local Saturday market, brewed it in the condo and enjoyed on the deck every morning. If you go, be sure to check out Playa la Lancha (3 km) a beautiful beach with great surfing without the crowds of Sayulita. -Mary Blachut, Vancouver (maryblachut@shaw.ca)
