Tucked in the garden of a Victorian 1904 home, the Aleah Cottage is a private, cozy inner city destination which has all the amenities of home. Approximately 650 square feet, this cottage has a full kitchen, equipped with gas range, micro, dishwasher, disposal and washer/dryer. To keep you warm there is a sweet gas stove which heats the cottage to "perfect". Soft 500 thread linens welcome you to bed and the european thermopedic mattress topper cuddles you to sleep.
The ceilings are vaulted and skylights open for fresh air and sunlight. The loft bedroom is reached by a spiral stair. The bed is queen sized. Cable TV, DVD, WIFI, CD player are all incorporated into this Asian themed space. A special plus is the whirlpool bath which may sooth you after a long day of sightseeing.
Bicycles welcome. Lake Washington Blvd. is close as is the Washington Park Arboretum and Volunteer Park. Canoeing at Lake Union or Lake Washington is available and tennis is located at Seattle University's courts three blocks away.
A nice private deck is cool in the summer and you can BBQ your fixins from the market. The garden is a wonderful restful space. Restaurants in International District, Capital Hill ,Pike Pine, Broadway , downtown, Pioneer Square are within one or two miles. The sports stadiums are a 5-10 minute drive.The bus line is half block away with a ten minute ride to downtown Seattle. Free off street parking exterior to the yard is included. Two night minimum. No smoking, no pets. Outcleaning fee $60.00. After each stay the cottage is completely sanitized with steam and natural cleaners. |
