This property offers a welcome respite from the summer heat featuring an elevation of approximately 4200 ft. Red Maple Ridge is only a 10 minute drive to the charming town of Waynesville. Paved access makes for convenient trips to town where guests can enjoy unique restaurants, quaint shops and local festivals. The house was designed with views in mind and is decorated with upscale furnishings and bedding. To celebrate the changing landscape, interior and exterior decor is updated throughout the year to reflect the special pleasures of each season. Whether it is spring, summer, winter or fall, guests are likely to enjoy this well-appointed vacation home. The gourmet kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, gas range/convection oven, granite countertops and a butler’s pantry. The 2-story great room features leather furniture, a stone fireplace, HDTV/Satellite and expansive views. The romantic at heart will find the master suite a true delight. Unwind in the 2-person whirlpool tub, relax in the luxurious bedding or simply drift off to sleep by the cozy firelight. Additional guests desiring privacy enjoy their own space on the second floor. Choose between the lodge-themed queen bedroom or the garden-themed bedroom. (Note: The XL twin beds can be converted into a king.) Vacationers will find plenty of entertainment options! Golfers are likely to enjoy more time on the links and less time in the car. The Waynesville Country Club is only a five minute drive and there are 4 additional courses within 30 minutes. The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is approximately 15 minutes from our doorstep. Maggie Valley is close by for additional entertainment activities. Asheville featuring the Biltmore House, NC arboretum, resturants and shopping is only 30 minutes away. With so much to do, many may find themselves looking forward to returning back to relax in this luxurious retreat.
