"Florida Cottage" in the much sought after "Old Florida Cottages" neighborhood. On the south side (beachside) of Scenic Highway 30-A in South Walton County between Destin and Panama City. Three miles to historic Grayton Beach and the famous "Red Bar" and four miles to the famous town of Seaside where the movie the Truman show was filmed.
This home has parking for two cars, community Pool and gas grills just out the back door. A short 150 yard walk to the beach on with showers and access over the dunes. Palm trees and cobblestone paved streets line the neighborhood. Inside you will find a modern two story home built in 1999. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. There are three televisions, two VCR's, a DVD player, as well as a stereo system and three telephones.
All linens and kitchenware are included. The home sleeps six and 1/2 with a King-Size bed in the master bedroom as well as a deck and private bath, two twin beds AND a PORTABLE CRIB in the second bedroom with a deck and a private bath and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with a half bath and a third deck. The house is very bright and the decor is very "beachy." Numerous windows abound. There is also a full-size washer and dryer for your use. The home has nine foot ceilings throughout, three ceiling fans, and central Air Conditioning.
This is the perfect vacation spot. My wife and I searched and searched for the perfect beach and found it here in the Panhandle!

Community Pool and gas grills just our the back door, lush landscaping, outdoor shower, bright and sunny home with beachy decor and a quick walk down to the beach. You can also drive and park right at the access complete with restrooms, showers, picnic area and lifeguards.
Small Beach Community where "The Truman Show" was filmed. Bud and Alleys is the best gulf front bar on 30-A. Come to watch the sunset!
Sandestin shops featuring Restaurants, shopping, Publix, PF Changs, Flemmings, Fish House and more.
Very good food in a wonderful setting. Asian influence, Sushi and seafood.

Discovered the area in 2000, bought Key Lime Cottage in 2001, moved down full time in 2003 and started a real estate sales company on 30-A, The Beach Group best thing we have ever done. We love it here.
