Newer 'South Walton Cottage' in the much sought after 'Old Florida Cottages' neighborhood. On the south side (beachside) of Scenic Highway 30-A in South Walton County between Destin and Panama City. Three miles to historic Grayton Beach and the famous 'Red Bar' and four miles to the famous town of Seaside where the movie the “Truman Show” was filmed.
"Key Lime" is very bright and the decor is very "beachy." Numerous windows abound. This vacation home has parking for two cars, community Pool (20 yards away) and gas grills just out the back door. A short 3.5 minute walk to the beach with showers and access over the dunes. Palm trees and cobblestone paved streets line the neighborhood. Inside you will find a modern two story home. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. There are three televisions, two VCR's, a DVD player, as well as a stereo system and three telephones.
First Floor: Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living Room with sleeper sofa, half hall bath, and Laundry room
Second Floor: 2 Twin bedroom (2 Twin Beds) with private deck and full bath, King Master Bedroom with private deck and full bath

Why the Owner Chose Old Florida Cottages
We thought this was the best neighborhood with great beach access when we first vacationed on 30-A. It is a great location close to all that 30-A has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Community Pool and gas grills just our the back door, lush landscaping, outdoor shower, bright and sunny home with beachy decor and a quick walk down to the beach. You can also drive and park right at the access complete with restrooms, showers, picnic area and lifeguards.
Small Beach Community where "The Truman Show" was filmed. Bud and Alleys is the best gulf front bar on 30-A. Come to watch the sunset!
Sandestin shops featuring Restaurants, shopping, Publix, PF Changs, Flemmings, Fish House and more.
Very good food in a wonderful setting. Asian influence, Sushi and seafood.

We bought this home in 2001 and moved here permanantly in 2003. "Key Lime" is still my wife's favorite beach home.

My family enjoyed a wonderful relaxing beach vacation at Key Lime Cottage last Summer. We have small children and really enjoyed having the choice of pool and/or beach everyday. Key Lime is adorable, well maintained, and very clean. We felt very comfortable there during our stay and truly enjoyed the beach decor. The property management people were very helpful when they quickly assisted us after accidentally locking ourselves out of the house. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella to be set up everyday on the beautiful beach and enjoyed relaxing and playing with the kids. We swam, kayaked, fished, shopped, biked, and absolutely enjoyed ourselves for the week. I would recommend Key Lime Cottage to any friends or family. We loved it and plan to return again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Key Lime Cottage was the ideal spot for our winter biking getaway. We enjoyed the many wonderful trails and scenery. It was close to the beautiful gulf beach and shared swimming pool. The house was neat, clean, and well maintained. The pictures accurately depicted the house and furnishings. Ocean Reef was easy to work with and prompt answering questions or helping if we had a problem. We highly recommend Key Lime Cottage and would stay here again!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
