Hello, it’s me. Your soul. I hear you’ve been searching for me. I found this really nice place on the water, it’s the most relaxed I’ve felt in a while. Some days, all I do is sit on the deck and watch the water, there’s an island across the way but no houses to stare back at me. On rare occasions a lonely sailboat will drift by. The wildlife entertains me. Deer keep the wild grass at bay. Eagles and hawks soar above the water. Kingfishers and herons hunt for fish along side seals and sea lions. There is even the sought after Orca sighting.
The deck is great for taking everything in. You can even see Mount Rainier from here. When I am feeling ambitious, I journey down the stairs to the waters edge and take the kayak out to see more of the quiet Pickering Passage. Although, usually I just wander the serene beach and maybe venture down to oyster cove for some fresh oysters. Crabbing and clamming is always fun but usually I can’t get motivated enough to get out of the hammock. That’s okay too, nobody’s here to keep score.
I hope you can find me. It’s a beautiful drive from the city, lined with old-growth forests and beautiful water-ways. I’ll be at the end of a long and private drive surrounded by huge cedars, firs, and madronas. I know you’ll love this place. There is nothing fancy or pretentious, just the water and this comfortable cottage. Everything you need is right here.

So, please enjoy this wonderfully relaxing 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin right on the water where the kitchen, dining area, and livingroom are completely open to each other. The livingroom has floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows with sliding doors that open up to the 700 sq ft deck. You can enjoy the views from most anywhere inside, great for sitting in the oversized chair with your hot cocoa in hand on those cool mornings watching the birds soar over the water. Better yet, soak up the sun out on the deck on those sunny afternoons!!!

Out of the guestbook.... 08/08/08 Much thanks for letting us stay. The peace and tranquility here was overwhelming, and the silence defeaning. A much needed hiatus from our busy lives on the Eastside in Bellevue. Trophy Lake and Gold Mountain Golf Courses were amazing. There were many well-kept secrets on this Grapeview Loop Road. It was such a nice place to come home to after our day trips to Mt. Rainier and Olympic National Parks.
