Welcome to "Glimpse of Heaven," our four bedroom, log-style cabin built in 2004. The cabin is less than one mile from Terry Peak Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Deadwood. Sturgis is 30 minutes away, making this an ideal location to take in the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We are close to snowmobile and ATV trails and rentals.
The cabin features a large, wrap-around deck which is ideal for enjoying the panoramic view of Terry Peak and the hills bordering Spearfish Canyon. It's the perfect backdrop for outdoor dining or just relaxing with a cup of coffee! The lower level walk-out patio has additional outdoor seating and a private hot tub. Skiers and snowmobilers will appreciate soaking their muscles at the end of the day!
The cabin offers three levels of comfortable Western living. The main level features a custom fireplace designed to bring in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The dining area is an inviting place for your own game of Texas Hold 'Em! The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher. Hickory cabinets add to the rustic charm. The lower level family room provides additional gathering space around the second fireplace.
The upper level master suite has a king bed, private bath with Jacuzzi and large windows to enjoy the view. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom located conveniently across the hallway. The two lower level bedrooms both have queen beds and share a full bathroom.
The cabin includes many extras like glove and boot dryers for our winter sports enthusiasts and ski storage racks. Linens, towels, basic soaps and paper products are provided so there is less to pack! One stall in our garage is available for your use.
Our quiet setting offers the best of both worlds: heavenly views and easy access to the action! Explore historic Deadwood. Tour the many sites like the nearby Broken Boot Gold Mine or Wild Bill Hickock’s grave. Pack a picnic for a day trip to Custer State Park or discover the exceptional beauty of Spearfish Canyon. Mount Rushmore is just a scenic, one hour drive away. Don’t miss the Black Hills Passion Play, "Days of 76" and the Sturgis Rally. Whatever your day holds, you'll be anxious to return to this comfortable cabin retreat! |
