"North Forest Beach" is one of the most sought after properties on the Island because of it's proximity to the semi-private beach, golf,tennis and the Famous Coligny Circle.

A large living room with a wide screen TV, PS2 and surround sound, which has three sofas (2 are queen beds) a game table and a computer desk, to the Carolina sunroom where you can eat or watch sports and enjoy looking outdoors to the large backyard and patio. How about "free" long distance calls within the contenintal U.S. and Digital HDTV for the sports minded. This home is just 6 houses/or 500 ft from the beach and a 5 minute bike ride to Coligny for shopping, dining, or groceries!
This large 2,200 sq ft home features three bedrooms (one king memory foam, one queen memory foam, two twins). Two bathrooms (just remodeled), TV's/DVD in every room and beautifully decorated with new beds and upscale linens and towels. A nice added touch is a full service large laundry room and a fully equipped kitchen with all the equipment to make a holiday meal. The home is popular for wedding parties due to the open entertaining spaces. The dining room seats 6, but with the two 4 tops the house can seat 14 comfortably. Outside is a large patio for entertaining with a fireplace, pondless waterfall, and grill area with seating for 10, which is great for gatherings around the fire in the evenings and watching the "night wildlife" and making "s'mores".
There is an outside "heated shower" when you come in from the beach for your convenience, along with a beach wagon to take all your things to the beach. You can even enjoy a cup of coffee in the "Carolina Room" with a compliment newspaper delivered to your door every morning before the days events unfold, or check your email on our free security coded wireless WiFi. Need a crib and crib linens? We can set you up. We have added 2 bikes, 2 beach chairs and a membership to the "Crowne Plaza Resort" Indoor Pool, HotTub and sauna with extra options for the gym at your cost , all in this one package for you to enjoy. The "Indoor pool and Hot Tub membership" at the Crowne Plaza Resort is within walking distance just down the beach. You can also walk to the Vandemeer Tennis Center in Shipyard Plantation from here. Of course "Golf" is right around the corner also. The backyard has night lighting for evening games and fun.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
This home has been in the family for over 25 yrs. Hilton Head has one of the best beachs in the East Coast. Strict rules preserve the beach and the island development to maintain it's integrity which we try to preserve. This is an activity island with golf, biking trails all over the island, tennis, hiking in preserves and sanctuary's, kids activities, swim, surf and fish. You are within driving distance to historic cities like Savannah, Beaufort, and even Charleston for a visit or shopping. Of course with over 250 restaurants which change hands and venues, there is always a new place to try every time you visit our island.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Being at the end of a deadend street it is very quiet yet only 6 houses to the beach. There is no commerical business in North Forest Beach yet a bike ride to Coligny for shopping or groceries is a snap. Our back yard is very private with an outdoor patio that has a fireplace, grill and dining table. The Carolina Room is perfect for football games on TV or having breakfast and watching the wildlife in the backyard. This house is great for entertaining and has seen several weddings so the kitchen has "Extras". Of course if you have teenagers not yet ready for the solo drive into town they can hop on the bikes and go anytime they want. Can you say "Me time"
This home has a membership to the Indoor Pool,Hotub and Sauna which you can walk (via the beach) or drive to.
You may rent indoor or outdoor tennis courts, lessons or sign up to play with others.
Coffee shops (Java Joe's), Grocery store (Piggly Wiggly), Restaurants (Skillets, plus more), Bikes 'n beach supplies galore, Hair salon, boutique's etc.

The family is from Michigan and as true snowbirds love to travel. They have been on Hilton Head since 1982 and have gone through the many changes of the island. All the "little ones" have grown up right now and have taken flight so there is a lull before the next nesting.

Nicely lay out of ranch style living. Plenty of space to roam around. Rooms are nice sizes. TV's in every room even the sun porch! Laundry room is nice and big. You have all the amities of home and more. Very clean and well kept. Owner was always reachable and provided excellent service whenever we needed it. Plenty of windows for cross ventilation and beautiful breezes. Outside backyard is like a forest adventure. Plenty of trees and beautiful birds singing their songs. A well placed hammock that in fact did see a lot of use! Easy walk to beach and great paths for biking. A little secret every morning around 7:30 am to about 9:00 am if you head down to the Crown Plaza Access (left on beach about a 10 minute walk) you will be greeted by an “Unofficial Dog Play Beach Time”. Out little “Noah” loved this part and boy did he have a blast… meeting about 20/30 dogs a day. If you do go with or w/o dog you will be happy you did! Say hello to “Jake” (white golden retriever) he is the “Mayor” of the dog park! Tell him “Noah” from NJ says “Woof”! A great place. We will be back!!!

The home is exactly as pictured. The owner has the home completely stocked. It is centrally located with the Coligny Square about 1/2 mile away. The beach is 1 block away. It is an ideal layout for a pet. The entire yard is not fenced however. Overall, a very nice place. I would not hesitate recommending this home.
Owner response:Thank you. We are glad you felt the house had what it needed for daily routines with out having to "run to the store" every day. Our goal is "bring a bag and relax". It is being taken into consideration having a large pen put on the property for pets. June 2011 a 10X20 ft dog run was added to the backyard.

Unbelievably peaceful, mornings and evenings, listening to the birds and squirrels, pine needles and native plants in abundance. The house and backyard are very private, We opened lots of windows, great fresh air. We were a group of adults, ballgames on the Carolina room tv for the men, movies in the living room, the 3 couches, made it very comfortable, there are 4 dining areas, a well appointed kitchen, and upgraded appliances.That made for a vacation in itself, but then there was the beach. Across a non busy street, with walking and biking trails, through a wooded canopy , the beautiful unspoiled ocean and sand, I joined the sparse collection of beach walkers, and enjoyed the birds both morning and evening, dogs loved it, as did their owners, beautiful beach homes to admire. A 30 minute walk either along the beach or the walking path bring you to civilization, Hilton Head style. Day trips to Savannah and Beaufort, and Charleston, make for an exceptional vacation. We love the southern food. The house was all that was promised, very clean and comfortable, a real home. Beds were very comfortable, everything was provided, no worries. Clothilde was a pleasure to do business with, just an email away. I'm sure families with children will love this place, but I recommend it to travelers who value nature and comfort, a hotel would never compare.

This was a home away from home. Not like a rental unit. My family enjoyed their stay and we could spread out with plenty of room. The house was clean and everthing was functional. We loved the close access to the beach and other island amenities. We loved spending time in the carolina room and the beautiful pation / back yard. We defently will be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We look forward to seeing you in 2008!
