There are three kitchens! The primary kitchen is off the great room. A complete second kitchen is in the lower level studio suite in the guest wing. A third kitchen is in the upstairs suite in the guest wing, and lastly, there is a convenient outdoor half kitchen with a portable BBQ grill off the pool patio near the master bedroom.
Set against the hillside, with solid glass walls that retract to a garden of orchids, ferns, red ti leaf, bromeliads, and bamboo, the master kitchen is fabulous! Available for guest use are two dishwashers, Lenox crystal glasses, Crate & Barrel plate ware, abundant upscale small appliances, an over-sized GE Monogram fridge, track lighting, two sinks, and spacious center island with leather bar stools.
Outdoors, there is a double carport, gated entry, fish pond, and an artfully crafted driveway featuring inlaid grass between paving stones. Abundant reclining chaise lounges are provided around the pool and under various covered patios.
Out in the side garden is a stately monkey pod tree that provides a broad canopy of shade from the afternoon sun. Below this grande dame of trees, is a sitting area with a priceless view of the South Oah`u coastline.
This is one of the first homes offered to visitors in Honolulu that was built using "green" technology. Soft, cool, serene and elegant travertine limestone floors flow from room to room throughout the entire home. Not only are the floors beautiful, but they are cool to the touch.
